I am sure he would use his professional capacity and experience to eliminate irritants, doubts, and differences between the two great civilisations and powerful neighbours. The most important is the trust deficit, which was highlighted following the Chinese army's actions in the Galwan Valley. But I am sure Russia can play a positive role. Both nations have large populations and extensive geographical areas. China will have to shed its aggressive posturing first and build on our historical relations from time immemorial.

Good choice. An outstanding officer. Would’ve been better to send him to Washington.

I have served the nation for three decades in uniform. I love my country, and I am a core nationalist. I am a doctor of internal security, and having served in a border state, I am also a doctor of national security. So even if you find my prescription different from that of other hospitals, it doesn't mean others are not good doctors.

Those who won elections from Patiala became powerful and were asking investors to invest in Patiala; they themselves left Patiala and invested in other places, especially in and around Chandigarh, Delhi, the UAE, and Europe. I call this playing on the emotions of poor and helpless voters. I don't know if you will call it cheating? Those departmental head offices that are meant to stay as per the agreement when PEPSU was merged with Punjab have been seriously violated. Only the junior-level officers stay here, while the heads and their paraphernalia want to live in Chandigarh and operate from there. This region of Chandigarh and its periphery in Punjab is becoming a tax drag on the state's taxpayers. We all know why. A few and powerful have continuously manipulated the resources of Punjab in the Chandiagrh Peripheral Region CPR. I am sure Gen Z will rise and do the course correction. That is what “The Shivalik Dialogue” is working for. The rebellion is in the making. Nobody can stop.

Yes, besides selfie time, Omar ji please do the selfless service to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. JnK is the best state of India. It is the best tourism spot in India. This statement is not based on any doubt about your work ethic, but I love Kashmir, as once your state remained part of the great Punjab, to be precise, up to 1846.
