Unfortunately an very shared female experience with female drs! The male rise in obstetrics brought in a lot of harm and controlling practices for women to make their job as a dr easier — why I say im not a huge fan. Not negating that common day male drs can save womens lives!

@htmalabs @DrewVento 7 female OBs ignored and dismissed me until I almost died. 1 male OB looked at labs that other doctors had already done and saw that I was literally dying There's a place for men in Obstetrics, and there's a place for women in Urology I will die on that hill

A man being a gynecologist is a terrifying thing. Dudes smart enough to be a doctor, and used his intelligence to maximize the amount of pussy he sees. Old, young, big, small, doesn’t matter, his love of vagina overtook every aspect of his life. This man has no morals, an evil agenda, and the smarts to make that agenda a reality, and no one even blinks an eye about it. I do not trust them at all

@ibdgirl76 Yep! As soon as they heard "early childhood trauma" that slapped the "fibromyalgia" on me.... chastised me for crying over recounting my frustrations and labeled me a drug seeker. Fun stuff. Turns out it was endometriosis 🙄

Why we tell patients to never tell their surgeon or pain doctor about trauma? New patient story: "I went to a new pain clinic cause I had abdominal sepsis and reconstructive surgery and I’m all messed up and they said my pain was all mental and that my pain was from my trauma of finding my brother after he took his own life and the two literally had nothing to do with each other and they didn’t want to help with pain meds but only therapy ."

@bioenergeticmel Detox and nutrition-maxing might be a good start to improving those sensitivities and helping your body rebalance. I can tolerate supps now that I couldn't before sustained consistent efforts at detox and nutrition.

I want to fix my nervous system but I have weird paradoxical reactions to magnesium glycinate, l-theanine, glycine, B vitamins, melatonin etc so I’m kinda stuck and don’t know what to do anymore because I react to everything

You sound like you are on the right track!!! Tough to be your own advocate when so many drs wont help. You sound like you may be interested in finding a holistic practitioner well versed in womens health to do some more in depth testing to find & treat the root cause that mainstream drs wont.

With the thyroid gone, (it helps regulate all the other lady hormones), you “may” have tripped into the realm of PCOS/PMOS. You may also have the MTHFR gene defect (60-70% of the population does) You may need to start using methylated vitamins that absorb differently. You may also try doing full blood and genetic testing to see specifically how your body works best. Sadly most doctors are really not trained in the female body (including OB/Gyn), and they don’t look for the cause, they treat the symptoms. My daughter and I am working this process now and it is a long road of trial and error. Prayers for your strength, and healing. Good luck.

Non-Bts related, but I'm so tired of every doctor. I go to telling me that the areas I'm concerned with that no matter how much I exercise aren't going away and not getting a reduction in size. Tell me that that's just where women gain weight. +

@DrewVento A male gynecologist saved my life when I was 19 I had been bleeding, heavily for > 1 mo. I was a ghost. 7 female OBs dismissed me, “it’s just a heavy period” Finally, he looked at my labs & scans. He had to operate immediately & give me blood I’d be dead if he didn’t exist

i used to vommit from cramps, lots went into my healing but I (& now many of my clients) SWEAR by the tea called "third trimester" by earth mother. it had red raspberry leaf which is a uterine tonic, nettle which is very mineral dense are both very helpful days leading up to period & on period. Cramp bark is also amazing and worth a try

@maggottree hair testing can give you massive insight to mineral status at a cellular level (how they are supporting neurotransmitters), thyroid health, adrenal health, heavy metals etc etc. my aunt suffered with CFS for YEARS. she was so calcified minerals could barely get into her cells

Is there any treatment for chronic fatigue. Genuinely. I can barely get up and do simple tasks without feeling a wave of tiredness. I can’t draw because even that sucks out all my energy. When I tell people I have it, it’s chalked up to laziness.

bully your doctor to actually look into your health, ask for blood work. improve your sleep hygiene, early morning sunlight food and exercise, coffee after breakfast, mag, taurine and glycine in the evening, bed time snack to keep blood sugar stable over night, no blue light an hour before bed, or have a professional figure it our for you & come check you minerals!

I need some advice guys, I dont sleep. I go to bed at 10pm, eventually falls asleep and up again by 12. Thereafter I wake up every hour, struggling to sleep again. Get up at 5 or 6 every morning, then im dead tired all day long. Went to the doctor, gave me a script for sleeping pills, Still knox, even that doesn't make me sleep. I have no stress, anxiety or financial worries, so what can the reason be for me not sleeping? Please, serious advise needed, no kak comments, please.

LifeMathMoney ₿ | Unapologetic Truths.
If you're feeling constantly tired, the first place to look at is your sleep cycle. You are likely not sleeping enough. If your sleep is fine, get yourself checked for nutritional deficiencies. You are likely deficient in something (Vitamin D, iron, B12, or something else), and it's showing up in your energy and mood.

@Ify__oma @komal_42 and a mineral test! low zinc, high copper, high calcium can all cause depressive like symptoms, mood shunting etc (blood is not a great way to test most minerals)

Is it possible for excessive exercise to make you feel sad or depressed? I’ve been feeling really down ever since I started working out both morning and night. 🤔💭

My hair is thicker, and so are my nails. I think I have a bit better attention span and mood regulation :) but a very long ways to go, also along with mercury chelation. for context, I had selective mutism as a child, and was just largely nonverbal sometimes. I grew out of it a long time ago but I suspect this was related to subclinical seizures or epileptic events? which may have still been going on until recently

so many mental health tips and tricks are useless when it comes to emotions that you're aware are irrational. like i have PMDD so i'm experiencing such intense irritability it borders on rage. i am fully aware this is just a result of my hormones. i know that whatever i'm angry about isn't real. it's almost like a physical anger, not a mental one. so i tried looking up ways to cope and it just pissed me off more bc most of it was "check to see if your anger is rooted in reality ❤️" like its NOT & thats the fucking PROBLEM!!!!!!

Good morning 🌧 I've written about this before and should do more really, not for pity, but for awareness. Endometriosis is a brutal illness. If I had to pick the worst symptom, it would be the fatigue. The pain exhausts you and the exhaustion makes everything hurt more, a vicious, relentless cycle. I used to be a champion athlete and now I struggle with impact sports as the pain is difficult to cope with. I don't want sympathy, but if you recognise any of these symptoms, please push your GP hard for a referral to a specialist: - Heavy, very painful periods - Chronic pelvic pain - Pain during or after sex - Painful bowel movements or urination (especially during periods) - Severe bloating or nausea - Lower back or thigh pain - Extreme fatigue It took me 16 years to get diagnosed. I couldn't advocate for myself effectively when I was younger and awareness was even lower back then. Don't wait. Please try to advocate for yourself. Take somebody with you, if possible. Keep a symptom diary (dates, timing, severity, impact on daily life), bring it to your GP appointments and be clear that you want a referral to a gynaecologist or endometriosis specialist. If you're dismissed, ask for a second opinion! Don't let them fob you off as it being "normal" to suffer. It isn't. Early diagnosis and proper management can genuinely change your quality of life. I hope this helps just one person. My DMs are open if anyone sees this and would like to message me privately rather than on here 🙏

Many women go through their periods without supporting their bodies afterwards (i know because I used to be one of them). After your period, your body needs iron rich supplements foods, vitamins and hydration. And as a + it helps you feel better.
