@marcusryder Perhaps? But ceding publicly-used space (even if it's privately owned) doesn't feel right. Making ourselves smaller has never stopped oppressors. It emboldens them. I'm going with a holding message on my profile pointing to more ethical platforms. Sanity and love might still win?

@jayacg I was thinking about that just the other day. I think black people (and other underrepresented voices) surrendering a the ability to speak directly to a larger audience free of MSM gatekeepers is a massive loss. But maybe we have already lost it whether we stay on X or not.
