@johnstepper Yes, 2020 print, with the blue cover. Having been on a coach for 7 hours today, over two trips, I’ve devoured the majority of the book. Final chapter to read and then looking to start a circle for the second time (I already strongarmed one of my last circle to return)

Reading (again) Working Out Loud by @johnstepper. Having fallen into an amazing job role with a brilliant team by sheer luck, then spent a year building my ‘social capital’ through conversations and sharing my knowledge, I feel a deeper connection with the themes this time.

Turns out Hell is pretty nice!

It’s evident from the line of people patiently waiting to sit next to a statue and strike a pose that these works of art bring joy to many people. And even for those who just walk by (which is fine) the space is completely transformed and has a new energy. How wonderful.

When you walk in a part of town you’re in all the time and suddenly there are new statues there and all of a sudden you’re excited and taking photos like a tourist (and of tourists) and you don’t care if people look at you because you’re happy. 🥰 #ILoveNewYork
