A lot of people misunderstand the plan from the Thalmor that they support the Stormcloaks because it’d be easier for them to take over Skyrim should they win, but that’s obviously stupid. The Empire already gives them what they want, so they’ve essentially already conquered Skyrim in all but name. In reality, the Thalmor plan was always to keep Skyrim locked into civil war, weakening it over time, it was only the Dragonborn showing up that would have upset the balance and allowed one side to beat the other. The Imperial vs Stormcloak debate is always funny to me, because the only arguments against the Stormcloaks are always conceding the point. “You claim to be a true Son of Skyrim, yet you sleep with a Khajit”, all that proves is that we can agree on what a true Son of Skyrim should look like…

it’s 2026 and this remake will be the only Halo game available to PlayStation players. Campaign Evolved’s default settings will be many people’s first experience playing a Halo game, and people are justifiably uneasy about that considering 343’s track record of misunderstanding why people like Halo. there is no ability to “go to MCC” with a PS port, no original CE packaged in this game, meaning it’s fair game to judge every single change made for this remake, good or bad, especially when the classic settings you’re telling people “just turn on” will require finding skulls in game first to unlock. your passion’s admirable but channeling into a message of “shut up and consume” ain’t it.

Sprint gotta be the most performative thing to be upset over in regard to Halo, it has not been a thing for over 16 years get a damn grip

To the pro sprint crowd of Halo, give me some genuine constructive feedback on why sprint should stay in the franchise. Instead of arguing, I want to hear why it is you value sprint in Halo. The floor is yours.

@RoytaMustDie Ngl forgot it was R3 in alot of games. Never liked pushing in the analog sticks.

Like seriously for a second: what does sprint add? I always hear notes about "just don't press it" and "just disable it", but never what it adds to the Halo gameplay style? It feels put in because it has to be there since people are used to it happening when they press R3.

@thatone_dude117 @Spartan_Eden @GamingButCursed I think super natural speed should look uncanny. Spartans aren't just humans anymore. transhuman dread is a concept from 40k, that I think would fit perfectly in halo.
