Vanderbilt arguably has the best offense in the nation. Would be a shame to not see that in the CFP, but it would take a pretty significant rethink in that room.

I would advise the committee to take a step back and have another close look at Vanderbilt - eye test and metrics. They’re just a better and more complete team than being given credit for. And Clark is right about the reason they haven’t - the historic Vanderbilt brand.

NES crews continue to restore power to customers affected by the storms in Middle Tennessee Saturday. Crews have restored power to more than 45,200 customers, however there are still about 8,800 customers without power. The majority of outages are in the Downtown, Old Hickory, Cane Ridge, White Bridge, Nolensville Pike and Whites Creek areas.
The storm broke more than 40 power poles that are now being replaced or repaired. Rain and flooding in some areas may slow restoration efforts, however, more than 200 NES and contract personnel are working quickly and safely to assess the damage and restore power. We appreciate your patience as crews continue to work throughout the day.

James Franklin is clearly a great recruiter, of players and coaches. His teams are always very good, but seem to lack the killer instinct to finish the job. Up 14-0 vs. Boise St, with the ball, they fumbled a handoff and are now in a dogfight. Think I've seen this before.
