@vandy_62 @twentysidesmatt Totally disagree. This schedule was similar to prior years and the early season tourney teams ended up underperforming as well. On top of it, we lost to a number of them. The law of averages simply caught up with us this year. People need to stop microassessing.

@twentysidesmatt He could have scheduled different teams. Winning games is more important than scheduling tougher opponents. Starting the season with a tournament is a big mistake.

After winning two games against South Carolina at home, Vanderbilt has not moved 1 spot in the RPI. They are still stuck at 73. There is no chance for an at large.

Vanderbilt has challenged three Javerro January calls at first in the first inning alone tonight. It has won all three. It's the difference in leaving the first up 1-0 and being up 5-0 and still hitting.
