@michaelstepchuk @CuOndaFlipside I’m sure they be at games and public events. You won’t know it they be plain clothes but Canada doesn’t grant enforcement powers to other nations police. They leave the CBSA to start immigration checks

@michaelstepchuk @CuOndaFlipside Why would Ice be arresting people. You understand they always had officers here just like the rcmp has officers in around the world gathering intel and relationships. Ice also has the mandate for illegal import and export investigations from the United States

@michaelstepchuk I highly doubt that they are just “showing up on their own”. What it says to me is that despite political rhetoric Canadian and US governments are still cooperating as they have for a long time.

@michaelstepchuk A quick google search will tell you that ICE has been operating in Canada since the mid 2000s so nothing new… International police cooperation between the US and Canada has been happening for a long time
