Through this the schools have observed reduced absenteeism related to menstruation,improved menstrual hygiene management,& greater confidence amongst learners.This programme also functions as a poverty alleviation measure for families already struggling with rising cost of living

we are reporting this morning to the Portfolio Committee, let me report to you South Africans, as Government we have reached over 4 million indigent girl learners in quintile 1-3 schools, including farm and special schools by ensuring they have access to free sanitary products

Today, the ANC President, Cde Cyril Ramaphosa, together with ANC National Officials, held a bilateral meeting with the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) office bearers to deliberate on challenges facing workers in the Mining, Construction, Energy, and Metal sectors. The meeting reflects the ANC’s continued engagement with organised labour to address issues affecting workers in these sectors. #YearOfDecisiveAction
