Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso, Aregbesola, Amaechi, and Tambuwal spearhead ADC’s protest against INEC for not recognizing the party leadership led by David Mark.

@atiku @ADCNig @inecnigeria @RepRileyMoore @TiborPNagyJr @RoyalFamily @batten_von Go back to the grassroots and address all the necessary issues raised by the concern parties before it is too late, all these shows of shame will amount to nothing
English

This morning, I joined other patriotic leaders of the ADC, @ADCNig, led by our indefatigable National Chairman, Sen. David Mark, who sacrificed the comfort of his special day to participate in a peaceful protest against the partisanship of @inecnigeria and the tyranny of the Tinubu-led APC administration. I believe they received the message that this effort to undermine our democracy will not succeed. It will be resisted and challenged to the best of our abilities. I also hope that the international community is paying attention to the threat to Nigeria, its democracy, and the opposition. Nigeria shall be reclaimed. Nigeria shall be rebuilt. Nigeria shall Arise and Shine through our collective and united efforts. -AA

English

@KwankwasoRM You continue to blame APC and INEC ,one would expect you to address the problem raised by the court and INEC,then leave the rest to Nigerians let's see how they will sideline you but instead you chose to be delusional
English

Today, I joined fellow coalition leaders and committed democrats to strongly condemn the blatant partisanship and compromised neutrality of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The peaceful procession in Abuja united various opposition groups in a clear message: we will not stand idly by while our electoral umpire undermines the will of the people.
We shall continue to closely monitor INEC’s activities and demand that it immediately returns to the path of impartiality, transparency, and professionalism so that democracy can thrive in Nigeria. - RMK

Tribute To A National Icon, David Mark, National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress.
We celebrate an extraordinary Nigerian statesman, David Mark, who turns 78 today, 8th April, 2026.
A soldier by training, a patriot by conviction, and a bridge-builder by temperament, his life has remained deeply woven into the story of Nigeria’s UNITY and DEMOCRATIC STABILITY.
Happy Birthday to a man of duty, discipline, and destiny.
Today, we honour a distinguished soldier who served Nigeria with courage in uniform, and later with wisdom in public office.
From the battlefield of national service to the chambers of democratic leadership, Senator David Mark has consistently stood as a symbol of ORDER, PATRIOTISM, and STATESMANSHIP.
As a military officer, he embodied discipline and sacrifice.
As a politician, he brought calm, maturity, and institutional stability.
As Senate President, his steady hands helped guide the National Assembly through defining moments in our democracy, proving that leadership is not about noise, but about strength, balance, and vision.
Beyond titles and offices, he has remained a fatherly figure to many—offering counsel, inspiring younger leaders, standing with and encouraging women while reminding Nigerians that nation-building requires patience, courage, and commitment.
In difficult moments, when the nation needed voices of reason and figures of trust, Senator David Mark has often been one of those rare leaders whose presence reassures and whose words unite.
He is one of those men who, over the years, has helped hold Nigeria together when it mattered most—through turbulent politics, constitutional tests, and moments that demanded national healing.
Today, we celebrate not just his birthday, but a legacy of service, sacrifice, and uncommon leadership.
May God continue to grant him strength, sound health, peace, and many more years of impactful service to Nigeria and humanity.
Happy Birthday, Distinguished Senator David Mark — soldier, statesman, father, patriot, and one of Nigeria’s enduring pillars of unity.
Enjoy your day, surrounded by those who love you dearly.
God bless Nigeria.
Lauretta Onochie.
@Laurestar.

We, members and leaders of the ADC, and other well-meaning Nigerians, lovers of democracy, are saying that our democracy must not be killed. We say NO to a one-party system and for that today we’re calling out Nigerians who believe in unity, peace, and security of our country to join us as we defend democracy in our land.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
