I just caught up with I Want to End This Love Game and yeah this is one of those romcoms that remind you why this genre is great, I literally cried during Yukiya’s confession.

According to The Race, there are some preliminary discussions and growing consensus between team bosses that the power split should move back toward the ICE to reduce some of the sporting/driving compromises imposed by the 50/50 power split. Increasing fuel flow, reducing electric motor power, etc. This is something I've discussed a handful of times by now. It requires a supermajority vote, i.e., 4/5 PUMs, the FIA and FOM to agree to it. It's the only sensible way forward because I think what we have now is unsustainable from a sporting perspective. In fact, a lot of it is almost verbatim from a post I wrote some time ago. Not because I'm some genius but because it's the logical way forward. I do, however, want to highlight that there are many complications. Technical, financial, and operational. All this needs to be revised. Cars getting heavier, potentially needing to rehomologate fuels, ADUO grants adjustments and headaches because it rolls over into next season. Some PUMs may have allocated a lot of funds and/or PUTB hours to the current ruleset, so they'll feel hard done by by major change now. So I want to make it clear that such a change extends well beyond just the technical regulations. I think having such a change ready for 2027 is a big ask. I'm obviously sad that A Condition Called Love is gonna end, but I'm happy that sensei got to end it the way she wanted. She had planned the ending years ago and she was able to follow her plan so that makes me very happy. She wanted extra chapters and she was able to do that too

@720Sojo @DeltyThe73rd The only point I was refuting was in the tweet stating he's not a loser, but the anime clearly wants to portray him as a social recluse/loser. I couldn't care less about the shoujo v shonen arguments in the QRT. For the record you're right, they made him that way to be relatable.

@outrloop @DeltyThe73rd Serious question tho, why is this premise such a big deal with Shonen romance anime? Shojo romance maga does the same shit but with the genders reversed. The goal is to have the young audience relate to these characters and some have low self-esteem seems like par for the course

@AtaraxyState @DeltyThe73rd Right, but the wish fulfilment part also includes the person being a recluse/loner, because of their hobby or not. A lot of times, the FMC usually helps the MC out of his recluse, so in that way it is wish fulfilment that the viewers want that to happen to them as well.

@outrloop @DeltyThe73rd It's not as much of a wish fulfilment anime, that if is an anime about having a passion and being accepted while having a niche passion, mf is just like gojo in dress up, and ive never seen gojo as a loser (and no gojo's passion being artistic doesnt change shit)

Siendo sincero, el primer episodio de Aishiteru Game wo Owarasetai me dejó bastante indiferente. POR AHORA, siento que el anime no le aporta ningún toque especial que lo haga destacar. Por ejemplo, en la adaptación de Otagal se añadió una paleta de colores espectacular y un diseño increíble para las gals, mientras que Ponsuka tiene un estilo visual realmente hermoso.
