One relatively simple, uncontroversial change municipalities can make to accelerate development: Put all of the relevant zoning and permitting info online in one simple, easy-to-use website. Allows new developers to evaluate opportunities in your city without having to make painful treks down to city hall to meet with planning / zoning / etc. (Of course, most municipalities actively discourage development, so they bury this info!)

Dear my life-long love, the @Panthers, • The investment in a massive LED screen that faces a thousand apartments is a misstep. Nobody needs to have updates on the Panthers 365, we have phones for that. • Real Madrid & JAX both managed to enclose their stadium for this price.

@Derailluer @prinzrob Why just not keep it straight ahead and make them enclose it for safety? It’s become crazy how CDOT inconveniences average citizens instead of developers and contractors. In any other city in the country this detour wouldn’t be needed.

I want to hear from everyone how we did here, and what we missed. I’m particularly interested in what my former colleague and good friend @prinzrob thinks, from afar. This will be a detour for a while, so if something more is needed, we aren’t going anywhere til it’s right
