We chose Cardano for a simple reason: blockchain removes the question who controls the truth of asset identity. With BikeID, that truth is decentralized and still verifiable.

@phil_uplc @shaggyrax @CryptoJoe101 We’re mixing layers here. The chain must stay neutral, permissionless, unopinionated - yes. Applications live in the real world and real businesses. If you sell bikes, you comply with DPP. If you issue a stablecoin, you deal with KYC. That doesn’t turn Cardano into Canton.

I’m against making “regulatory alignment” a property of the blockchain itself. I’m not against applications themselves deciding to align to their local regulatory requirements. The whole point of permissionless credible neutrality is that the blockchain is not opinionated about applications. It’s an open network that supports any application, and it’s up to the individual use-cases and applications to make their own choices.

Don't get me wrong, the "boring" is to the eyes of the crypto industry where tvl, tps, and other fluffy metrics drive the narrative but maybe bring ZERO innovation. At the same time you can have metadata transactions which carry a lot of information/value and solves a real problem but makes "industry expert" yawn...

What if @Cardano’s real edge isn’t speed or fees but regulatory alignment?👀 The EU is forcing industries to adopt structured product identity through DPP. That means verifiable records, long-term auditability, and tamper resistance. BikeID positions Cardano inside that shift not as a crypto tool, but as compliance infrastructure. Would you rather Cardano chase trends or anchor regulated industries?

Thanks @Cardano_Power @hoskytoken We’re not writing every event to mainnet. BikeID batches registrations and lifecycle updates, then anchors cryptographic proofs to Cardano. At 1M bikes with full lifecycle history (which we expect by end of ’26) that translates into thousands of secure anchors, not millions of L1 transactions. This make the solution scalable by design with and efficient, cost-effective architecture, obviously secured by #Cardano mainnet. Real-world enterprise adoption is the point.

I agree with the post below. Cardano does not have a lot of mindshare in the Agent-To-Agent, x402, etc. meta thats happening on Crypto X. Even though I try, it's currently dominated by Coinbase, Cloudflare, Stripe and others. But we're a step ahead. Our infrastructure is up and running, our network works well. Now its about getting users. Real users. Next week we'll be launching a bunch of stuff for Masumi. New agents, new strategic positioning, new landing pages. When we do we'll have a press release going out from Serviceplan Group (largest European Media Agency - so it is getting picked up by press), we'll have paid ads, we'll do lots of more video content & we'll go on more other channels (TikTok, Insta, LinkedIn). The crypto X scene is a bit of bubble. It's not our target audience. We only have 1 goal: Give users access to agents that are so good, everyone in the world will use them. Then they won't care if its on Cardano or Base or whatever.

🤯 BREAKING NEWS BFI (BikeFun International) has agreed to implement BIN (Bicycle Identification Number) directly in their factory production process. We’ve already presented the full RFID-based workflow for reading and tracking bikes during manufacturing.
