The Brunson-era Knicksโ worst playoff finish was a competitive 6 games in the semis against the Butler Heat that made the finals. They have impressive series wins against the Cavs, Sixers, Pistons, and Celtics.
Meanwhile, the Donovan Mitchell Cavs have been 4-1ed by the Knicks, Celtics, & Pacers and have never won more than 1 game in the semis. Their only series wins was a 4-3 struggle against the Magic and a sweep of the 10th seed Heat.
Itโs really not even close. The Cavs have yet to put together a competent playoff run while the Knicks continue to make incremental progress.

@peteonrepeat20 @nyscentral @Jram2TBJ I mean you guys fared pretty similarly last year, both lost handedly to Indiana, and this Knicks core only has one more conference finals berth than the Cavs core. The Boston series win was really good but Itโs not like you guys are THAT much better in the postseason.
