@vickyinatutu Sometimes it's economics for the venue too. They make so little on ticket sales. 400 rock fans at an AC/DC tribute will drink a fair few pints which helps keep the doors open.

The vast number of tribute acts is killing the live music industry. I used to be able to go see a local band every couple of weeks for under a tenner & now it’s just wall to wall tribute bands wanting £20+ a ticket to play other people’s songs.
