Hey ShannonJean, the 2028 GMC Jimmy in that video is a slick concept render/mockup (looks like it’s from fan/AI-generated auto show footage by accounts like generalmotorsjeff). Real talk: GMC is reportedly reviving the Jimmy nameplate on a new body-on-frame midsize SUV (shared platform with Canyon/Colorado) to rival the Bronco, Wrangler, and 4Runner. Development is back on after being shelved earlier—thanks to relaxed regs and GM’s ICE focus. Not in production yet. Expected debut late 2027/early 2028 for a 2029 model year. Pure ICE (possible V8 option), no EV plans mentioned. GMC hasn’t officially confirmed anything. Cool idea though!

Hey @grok is the 2028 GMC Jimmy real? Just a concept? Going into production? EV or ICE?

In this world, you are judged by what you do and not what you say. Unfortunately, there are not many favorable examples to support your claims of colonial oppression. In most circumstances, irrespective of location, irrespective of surroundings, irrespective of opportunities, the black race repeatedly fails to build, sustain and improve anything. Yes there are exceptions, but you don’t define character with exceptions. It’s impossible to make such an observation without being labeled a racist. But I call spade is a spade

Black woman from South Africa: “Black people have been patient enough for more than 400 years of colonialism. We are coming for you, and we are going to get everything that you own.” White people are facing racism, hatred, and brutal violence in South Africa. This is not acceptable. More people should know about the horrible things happening in South Africa; almost nobody talks about it.

Ok, so here’s the problem I have with this post…. By outlining what a “real Muslim” does or doesn’t do, you’re confirming and admitting that there are bad Muslims. Extremists. And the story the media spin is that these bad Muslims/Extremists, represent “less than 2% of the Muslim population”. But the truth is that these minority extremists create so much chaos and shout so loud that they become the flagships of your religion. (Surely you see this) Then the media tell us not to judge the religion by these extremists. But when these extremists riot, loot, murder, degrade, preach hatred and openly preach about colonizing their host country…… the other 98% “good Muslims” don’t say a word, don’t stand up against these bad Muslims, they are quiet and just turn the other way. We don’t see the good Muslims condemning the actions of these bad Muslims. Least of all from a leadership standpoint. So, the truth is that it really doesn’t matter if 98% of Muslims are good and just want peace and just wanna be accepted, because if they are not actively and truthfully trying to eradicate the 2% that are supposedly misrepresenting their religion, then you’re quietly supporting the extremists. In this case, doing nothing is complacency. This stands true to all religions of course….

A real Muslim .. doesn’t attack people. He doesn’t exploit his religion for political or worldly gains or steal donations! A real Muslim doesn’t go to other countries & insult their beliefs or way of life ! He doesn’t break the law, he respects everyone, regardless of race or faith. That’s why.. we, the original Arab Muslims never migrated. We stayed in our land even when it was only a desert! Any Muslim living in the West must respect its laws & the values of its original people or go back to their own countries!!

I went to Airbnb to see how much these things rent out for so you don't have to. Answer: $800 - $1400 / night Then I had to find out exactly how much you can buy these things from China for. Answer: About $3k plus shipping. What did I learn? That even at 30% occupancy, which is really low, very conservative, you would have this thing paid off in a couple months flat. And did you know that you don't even need to own land to do Airbnb glamping? You can lease land or lease with an option to purchase to reduce your risk. Most people think they need acres and acres of land and a huge investment to do something like this. But you literally just need to find a farmer or landowner who wants some extra income and split the profits with them. I dare you to have a few of these set up by the end of 2026.

BEE is a cleverly designed system to keep the educated folks out of leadership roles, while instilling uneducated people everywhere so they can easily be controlled and bribed in exchange for votes. The ANC depends on “dumb votes” to remain in power. As a results, there’s a constant brain-drain, an exodus of brave, innovative and educated entrepreneurs because government doesn’t support them. The more leave, the longer government remains in power, supporting the system the created.

🇿🇦 South African President Cyril Ramaphosa says that the country will not abandon its DEI policies, known as “Black Economic Empowerment (BEE).” “Those who say BEE and affirmative action must stop are just dreaming,” he said. South Africa has strict laws that mandate race-based hiring practices. A new law called the Employment Equity Amendment Act sets hiring targets for 2025–2030 across 18 economic sectors. Some workforce targets aim for 90–96% of employees to come from designated groups, which include Black people, women, and people with disabilities (minimum 3%). That means that if a company has more than 5% white men, it could face penalties of up to 10% of its income.

I don’t own a Tesla because I live in a town in Portugal where charging is a menace and I don’t have home charging capabilities. Having said that, I personally think $100 per month for FSD is a bit stiff. They should start at say $30 and ramp up the price as the adoption grows, ultimately ending at $100 with late adopters. This will also offer them more data quickly.

Tesla needs to continue to evolve their Self-Driving pricing model to increase adoption. With a product this good, sales should be going vertical. It's time to ask some hard questions about what's not working. What do you all think?

A subscriber read our newsletter, flew to Madeira and bought a €850,000 villa. A couple of years ago I walked away from a VC backed startup. I got tired of dealing with VCs, managing big teams and everything that comes with that world. So my wife @anastasia_neg and I decided to do something completely different. I came across a post from @denk_tweets talking about a newsletter platform he was building to disrupt the market, and that was our introduction to @beehiiv. We launched @affordihome in July 2024 as a family business, with the idea of curating the best property finds across Mediterranean Europe for people who are serious about buying. Everything we built was done publicly on X and every single one of our subscribers came through organic growth, zero paid acquisition (currently at just under 27,000 subscribers). In October we featured a villa (see pic.) on Madeira and that single edition generated ~60 inquiries from our readers, one of whom got on a plane, flew out to see it and closed the deal yesterday 🥹. This started with property posts on X, people engaging, sharing and subscribing. Without that community none of this would've happened, so thank you all! And yes, creating founder led content is the absolute moat these days and it's what sets you apart from your competition.

@rohanpaul_ai This "robot" seems really HUGE for what it does. The distance between the needle and the cartridge/cassette is really far so I assume a lot more blood needs to be drawn? It just feels like once Tesla builds one of these, it will be 75% smaller.

A rare and well-preserved half-timbered property in Denmark, constructed in 1777 by Count Christian Ditlev Frederik Reventlow as one of his pioneering model schools on the Lolland estates (imagine the history!). - renovated in 2023 - main residence of approx. 300 m² - separate autonomous guest unit of approx. 95 m² - two car carport + a 10 m² workshop - 2,400 m² plot with open countryside views and pre-installed utilities for potential additions (e.g., sauna or lounge). Its worth knowing that its super hard for non-residents to buy real estate in Denmark so this will probably mostly appeal to my Scandi followers. This is a direct from owner sale and feel free to DM to find out the price+more details.

Sounds great but that’s a lot of money/assets to protect/maintain. My dream - scale down and achieve freedom with €1 million in Portugal. Create and operate an “alternative healing type retreat” on a nature-reserve type setting. Complement with 4 wooden cabins for part-time rental income. Build a 300m2 shed for woodwork & craft experimentation Live there in a wooden cabin, large deck, gorgeous views.

let me tell you about my LIFE dream/plan: - make around $20 million more. liquid cash, not some illiquid equity valuation - then i say goodbye to "working for money", change my investment strategy from "aggressive growth" to "capital preservation", 1-2 mil passive income annually, tax optimised - buy a beautiful headquarters somewhere in nature but close to a large city i like. the mansion below costs $1.6 mil and has its own huge garden, a private river, dozen of rooms, etc., so it’s basically free. the layoffs from ai automation will lead to a further collapse of real estate prices and i will get a fantastic bargain for a truly majestic mansion for sub $8 mil - convince 5 - 10 of my close friends to also get a place next to me, we build our own community with our own produce, animals, etc. raise family like a small village, but super rich with access to the best technology and medicine while being mostly offline and close to nature for most of life - spend most of the year in headquarter doing physical work like wood works, art, photography, writing, etc and also travel the world for adventures ted k was right

Someone is selling a manor estate in Burgundy with a private river, waterfalls and a natural swimming pond. 2 hours from Paris. Two buildings arranged around a courtyard, 1,700m² (18,298 sq ft) in total, 12 bedrooms, an artist's studio, stables and 7 hectares (17 acres) of land. Inside there's a music room with a piano, a library in the tower, a writing room, and a dining room built around a fireplace large enough to roast a whole animal. Herons and wild ducks live on the property year round. The river has a depth of 3 metres and you can swim in it all summer. Near Vézelay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Asking price: €1.39M ($1.6M). The French sure do know about living well. A river on your grounds, your own land to walk, swimming in summer, dinner outside. What's the French word for this kind of life?

Farmer pays $5–$8 per cow per month. A New Zealand company puts a solar-powered smart collar on cows. It tracks location 24/7, health, temperature, chewing activity, breeding. Farmer just opens a simple app and draws a line on the map. That line becomes the fence. As cows approach the boundary, the collar beeps and vibrates. With one tap, the whole herd moves to fresh grass or the milking shed. No physical fences. Less labor. Huge cost savings for farmer. Already on 700k cows across New Zealand, Australia, and the US. and now in talks to raise at a $2B valuation led by Peter Thiel.
