@unclebobmartin You should read the "clean code" book. If you structure your code according to those principles, an LLM will have a much easier job, just like every developer would have.

I believe I have induced Claude into a myopia loop. The game behavior is complex so I've been tweaking it. But each tweak breaks some other complex behavior. The totality of the behavior is too much for Claude to keep in it's context window so, we just bounce around endlessly fixing things that used to work. I need a new plan. And not one generated by Claude.

Open source ensures that designers are not locked into a single ecosystem, that data remains under the creator’s control, and that the future of design tooling is not dictated solely by the stock market. #design #ux #opensource medium.com/design-bootcam…

Reality check: Europe has no true home-grown giant that matches AWS/Azure/Google in scale, global reach or raw infrastructure depth. US hyperscalers still hold ~85% of the EU cloud market. Full decoupling? Not happening anytime soon. Europe simply doesn't have the infrastructure muscle or single champion to deliver the same services at the same price/performance yet. 🇪🇺🔴

I’m one of those 100 million voters but I didn’t vote for that. Maybe you’re right but I doubt most of those 100 million are okay with armed goons in balaclavas asking “papers please” to anyone who looks different. This is going to risk electing a Democrat next time and letting even more illegal immigration.

@Timur_Yessenov @arvidkahl I don't fully agree. Coding, when done right, creates a nice reward loop. Change, Test, Change, Test.. and boom you are in the flow. When using agents it's hard to reach this because I am waiting for the agents all the time. Off course in the end, I am more productive...

the devs who see AI as "taking away the fun" are clinging to the wrong part of the job. the fun was never typing code. it was solving problems. AI just removed the friction between "i know the solution" and "solution exists in production." the problem-solving is still there. it just moves faster.

Critical distinction right here. The fun of cracking the problem by diving head-on into the step-by-step solution is gone. For some devs, this has been (a part of?) their identity for decades. Now, a new kind of fun awaits. One of seeing magic being conjured in front of you.
Dmitrii Kovanikov@ChShersh

I vibe-coded my first app today using Claude Code. 1 hour to do what would have taken me a whole weekend before. Programming is no longer fun. But building is more fun than ever.

You’re smoking dope their GDP is down versus the US. They’re 60% of our GDP were 15 years ago they were equal to our GDP you can’t walk the streets of Milan, Paris or London without being accosted by black Muslims from Africa. There’s homeless everywhere and it has become a destination for staying in a hotel being treated well and leaving seeing the sites and that’s it. Germany has been decimated in terms of productivity northern Italy is still productive Visa V the rest of Europe, which in and of itself shows a downfall of productivity across the European union. There’s only one thing that that’s true. The invasion of Europe is ongoing. The bureaucracy and Brussels is overwhelming and it is a collapsing society.

🇩🇪🇳🇱❤️ This is Europe. According to the MAGA wing of the Trump administration, this place should have collapsed by now. Instead, it is Dutch football fans flooding German streets. Singing, dancing, laughing, hugging strangers. Cities full. Life loud and joyful. MAGA got this completely wrong. Their picture of Europe is a blown up fantasy built on Russian-style propaganda, fear loops, and culture war hallucinations. A closed information bubble where everything outside looks broken, dangerous, and hostile. None of it holds up the moment you actually show up. This is what happens when societies choose openness over paranoia and curiosity over fear. Ordinary Americans understand this instantly. They arrive, they blend in, they laugh with us. They always have. And they will always be welcome here. Europe is not collapsing. It is living. MAGA just chose to look away and shout at shadows.

@Microinteracti1 Shame on you! Don't abuse the Dutch football supporter for your political purpose! There is no correlation whatsoever!! Most Dutch supporters want less or leave the EU! #nexit

This video is a feel-good moment at a football match, but it doesn't reflect everyday reality in Europe. Women face real risks from sexual assaults, and stats in places like Sweden show disproportionate involvement from certain immigrant groups in convictions. Meanwhile, Muslim radical voices in some communities openly call for violence against non-believers. Prioritizing "openness" while ignoring these issues isn't helping anyone, let's focus on safety and integration first, not bashing MAGA for pointing out concerns.

@nico_jeannen @Hetzner_Online There is a high chance that they simply have to do it due to strong EU regulations. I'm getting an email every month that the German government reported my IP (even though I use Hentzner just to host some of my small regular SaaS products).

Lol, I wanted to give a shot to @Hetzner_Online, but apparently, you need to wait until an employee manually approves you? And it's only during working hours, excluding weekends???

@skdh @michaelshermer They put people in jail for calling rapists mean names, Sabine. They're not protecting "human dignity." They're trying to protect themselves from criticism of failed policies that have escalated violent crime
