50/50 Men Who Disappear When It's Time to cook and clean. I have no problem with men who want to do 50/50 with their wives. My issue is simple: don't be a 50/50 man only when money is involved and then vanish when it's time for house chores. And don't expect your wife to be your personal cook. Cooking should be rotated. Both of you take turns. If you want 50/50, do it from top to bottom, finances to house chores: If your wife is cleaning the bedroom, you should be washing the toilet. If she's cooking, you should be washing the plates. If she goes to the market, you should do the cooking. You should also carry pregnancy. Oh wait, you can't. So maybe stop acting like she's doing nothing. If she's bathing one child, you should be bathing the other. If she cooks today, you cook tomorrow. If she's sweeping, you should be mopping. If she's paying school fees for one child, you should be paying for the other. If she's washing clothes, you should be rinsing and spreading them on the line. That is what real 50/50 should look like. Not just when money is involved. You want your wife to match you financially but the moment it's time to clean, cook, or carry responsibility around the house, suddenly you become a "traditional man". You don't get to pick and choose. Either you are all in or you are not. You cannot be progressive with her income and primitive with her labour. Something is wrong with that picture. Fix it. Above all, love God.

Call me weird but i once broke up with a girl because she doesn’t have a smell. Not body odor, I mean that natural, particular smell women tend to have. And I’m not talking about the smell from body wash, perfume, or deodorant. This girl just don’t have the scent. At first, I thought maybe I just hadn’t gotten close enough to her while we were still talking, so I chilled and didn’t rush it. I didn’t want to seem creepy by getting too close too soon. But fast forward to when we started dating and she came to visit. I finally got close, and still nothing. We hugged… nothing. I even took her for a walk to my street junction on foot so she could get warm and sweaty. Still nothing. Even when we made love, there was no scent. I repeat the process like twice, but still nothing. Anytime she visit and left, my skin didn’t smell like her. When I thought about her, there was no lingering trace of her in my memory. Everything just felt… off. So I lost interest and eventually ended it.

Pastor Jerry Ezeh is praying for Jos people and Nigerians are all over his timeline abusing him. Pastor Nathaniel Bassey is sending prayers and kind wishes to Jos people and Nigerians are all over his timeline abusing him. Neither Pastor Jerry or Pastor Nath is your President or elected politicians. They’re spiritual leaders that will be praying and guiding the people spiritually. Nigerians should be more responsible and channel their anger to the right quarters.

Those people you mention, have they become Cameroonian by their being pastors? Are then not Nigerians too? Who will the spiritual leaders lead when all their spiritual Christians are killed. Will you be making this type of statement if your mother was killed last night? Are we now choosing and picking the type of Christianity we should practice? If the families of those pastors were killed yesterday, will they make those same tweets?

Reason why I’m not attending Their mum is my mum’s elder sister, so we are cousins. My mum is the last born in her family, and i grew up very close to them. I even stayed with them for a while. The twins are five years older than me, and they’ve always been like brothers to me. However, they did something that really hurt me. We both gained admission into the same university together. They got their admission late for some reason, which is why we ended up starting at the same time. One of the twins was given Accounting, the course they both wanted, but the other twin was given a different course. Fast forward to our convocation day: my mum was sick and my dad had travelled. I was already working at a showroom at the time because I needed money for my NYSC. Before convocation, they paid for their gowns and collected theirs. They have three sisters abroad who are doing well, while I’m the first born in my family and carry a lot of responsibility. I couldn’t afford to pay for my clearance and gown immediately, so I was waiting for my salary. By the time I paid, it was late and I wasn’t given my convocation gown. Meanwhile, they collected theirs and did a photoshoot with their family. After their photo shoot, I called and asked if I could borrow their gown so I could also do my own photo shoot. They refused and said they were taking it to school for pictures. I told them, “But you guys already did your shoot.” I begged them, but they still refused to lend it to me. I was really hurt. On our convocation day, when I arrived at school, I couldn’t even enter because of the heavy crowd and traffic. I had to stay outside with my friend. She had also paid for her gown but wasn’t given one either. We both walked around looking for someone who could lend us a gown so we could at least take some pictures. The person we eventually borrowed a gown from didn’t even allow us to use it for more than a minute before she collected it back. At the end of the day, the only picture I managed to take was blurry because we were rushing. It hurt even more when I heard that my cousin and his parents celebrated his convocation in a big way, they cooked, invited friends, and made it a memorable occasion. I felt left out, but I just looked away. When it was time for NYSC, I had already been working for a year. I wanted to register for mine and asked if they could give me the contact of the person who helped them with their direct posting. They had gotten direct posting to Ibadan, and I also wanted Ibadan or Osun. But they refused until I was posted to benue Since then, we stopped talking. That was in 2022. Until now, I don’t use WhatsApp anymore. But whenever I post something on Telegram, they’re always the first person to view it. So I just assumed they didn’t want to talk to me. In January, my mum told me that one of them wants to do a wedding, but they didn’t tell me themselves. That’s why I don’t want to attend. My mum has been begging me to go but I won’t

I don’t know if it’s just me but I do not care for these people’s content, I scroll so fast, I don’t want to know what’s going on in your life or how good your life is And no this isn’t coming from a place of envy or jealousy, I dislike people who tone deaf They constantly bombard you with lifestyle contents, feed off from your admiration and obsession of them but will never ever utter a word of support You could literally be burning in this country and they wouldn’t care, just bombard you more with a lifestyle you can never ever relate to🙂

"I am a man of 35 years old, but today,I feel like a stranger in my own house. I live in a one-room apartment with my wife. Last year, when my wife gave birth to our first son, my mother and my younger sister moved in to help with "Omugwo" (postpartum care). I was so happy. My mother is a widow; she sacrificed everything to send me to school, so having her around felt like a blessing. But it has been 14 months. They haven't left. Every night, my wife and I sleep on the bed with the baby, while my mother and my 22-year-old sister spread their mat on the floor right next to our bed. We are all breathing the same air in that small room. I'm frustrated, my mind is burning like fire inside & can't hold this to myself anymore. For one year, I have become a "celibate" man in my own marriage. Anytime I touch my wife at night, she jumps like a snake has bitten her. She will whisper, "Are you mad? Your mother is right there! Your sister is watching!" I got frustrated and did something I now realize might be strange. I went to meet my mother and sister to talk to them "man to man."My mother laughed and said, "My son, don't mind her. I am your mother. I have seen it all. Just do your thing, I will cover my ears. It doesn't bother me." My sister even joked about it, saying she would put on her headphones so she wouldn't hear anything. I was relieved! I went back to my wife and told her the "good news" i explained things to her, i told her mom & my sister says they wouldn't mind and besides they're not kids Instead of being happy, my wife looked at me with pure disgust. She said, "You went to discuss our private life with your mother? Have you lost your shame?" Now, she won't even let me hold her hand. She has turned her back to me for 3 months straight. She says if I want "action," I should rent a separate house for my mother. But how can I throw my widowed mother out when she has nowhere to go in this Lagos? Is it wrong for a mother to stay with her son? Why is my wife making this look like a crime? My mother says she is comfortable on the floor, so why is my wife the one complaining? I feel like my wife is using this "shyness" as an excuse because she secretly hates my family and wants them to suffer. Am I supposed to choose between my mother’s comfort and my wife’s "shyness"? this is exactly how women push a man out to another woman yet start complaining! I love my wife and i honestly don't want to cheat on her but the way things are going i might have no choice " Husband from temu

I have read most of Ur comments which 99% throw blame to the man. Everyone seems to support the woman. I think such judgement is bias. If Jesus was around, how will he judge them and bring solutions. He will also do same just like the woman caught in adultery and everyone pointed to the law that she deserves to be stoned to death & they forget if God could mark iniquity who can stand? Jesus said every one should check their conscience who has not committed one sin & the other shud 1st lift a stone and stones her. They all judged their conscience and left one after one. In this case the love of motherhood & partnership should be defined & the sacrifices of motherhood & womanhood should be defined & the circumstances for the parents to be comfortable lying on the ground is worth appreciated. U could imagine their poor background and widow who suffers to train the son with her poverty which led to the boy become relevant for the girl to get married to a prospective young man. And the young lady the wife also has a dignity to protect not to have sex why they lives in same room her decision is also meritorious but True Loves is selfless and sacrificial. She may not willing to have it in their present for dignity same and the present family financial background does not permit the young man to afford another big room. Now for a selfless love both can sacrifice with maradona style to perform their conjugal duty each time by methodology either U play Ur mum's & her sister to saloon to make their hair before they return U and Ur wife smartly perform Ur duties with love, patience and sacrifice, anytime U both each other U kindly engage Ur mother and sister with outside activities before their return, U gives Ur wife as many rounds U want to go why patiently with life and hoping for what the future has for both of U to rent a bigger house for Urself and make Ur siblings especially the poor widows woman comfortable. We should all have it in mind before we meet our wife and husband, there's has been a family who paid the ultimate price for us to survive and relevant. This present day sermon in the church will tear your family apart. Use Ur wisdom. Hakuna Matata. Shallom
