@re2max @chris_komatsu This is compeltely irrelevant since we're talking in terms of percentages here, not raw numbers...

Literally the one European country that answered the admin's call to send their own military personnel to the Middle East to help us, and this is how they are treated? Note that when you beg all of Europe to send help while also trashing them, they'll see this and realize there's no reason to help us. We've demontrated this will not change regardless of their actions.

@dirtydeeds100 @chris_komatsu At the very start of the war in 2022 the US directly suggested targets, that is noe public knowledge thanks to the NYT. Regardless, it is even today that an American officer has to approve an action that will result in Russian casualties.

@re2max @chris_komatsu I mean thats effectively the same process. The US isnt picking the targets, ukraine is,we just give intelligence that can help identify some targets but 🇺🇦 does a lot of that on its own as well, hence the veto power.Such intelligence sharing does not equate to direct involvement.

@dirtydeeds100 @chris_komatsu Yes, it is. Ukraine is expected to pay back everything the US delivered and more. The first paragraph of the preamble.

@re2max @chris_komatsu No, it isnt, this is additional investment from the US on top of the aid we've already given to ukraine. Now are the exact terms more favorable to the US because of that previous aid, perhaps, but this isnt a deal in which we just treat the previous aid as the investment.

@jaysburningroom Oh shut the fuck up already... Ukraine bombs apartments, hospitals, schools every fucking day, and you have never said a fucking WORD in criticism of this policy which has been in place for 12 years now.

@DirectorOfNATO @humph09 @InfidelHL @XMRVoid Send your coins to wallets tied to the account and then buy whatever in real life. Nice. But then what is the point of getting a verified exchange account if 1) P2P exists and 2) any purchase with a real card (Goblin's FAQ says buying crypto is banned) will immediately dox you?

@dirtydeeds100 @chris_komatsu He is telling you that times have changed. He is also highlighting that the USSR included Ukraine, a now separate state whose military expenditures are calculated separately from those of Russia. A more appropriate comparison would be RSFSR vs. RF.

@dirtydeeds100 @chris_komatsu A veto is part of it, but American officers still have to sign off on orders, thus explicitly allowing to strike and kill Russian targets.

@re2max @chris_komatsu No, its ukraines call where we have veto power, where we only assist them with the intelligence and training to better perform that job.

@dirtydeeds100 @chris_komatsu As I said, the US is only investing here because Ukraine will not be able to pay back at all otherwise. It is ultimately a mechanism for returning a loan. Politically, at that point Ukraine did not have a choice to say no.

@re2max @chris_komatsu Thats what an investment is? You expect a return on profit? Ukraine would never agree to this if the US wasn't providing additional capital irregardless of the military aid already provided to them.

@dirtydeeds100 @chris_komatsu The buildup will be noticeable, true, but that does not mean it will be thwarted or that an invasion will be prevented.

@re2max @chris_komatsu That really won't matter much especially in today's day and age, where such troop buildups are highly noticeable, as we saw in 2021 and 2022 with Ukraine.

@dirtydeeds100 @chris_komatsu It is still ultimately a call of an American serviceman to whack a Russian serviceman. Fundamentally, how is that not direct involvement? A conscious choice has to be made.

@re2max @chris_komatsu No, because thats more about what restrictions we have on what ukraine can be targeting, we aren't the ones manning the systems.

@dirtydeeds100 @chris_komatsu Then why does the mineral deal's preamble is framed such as that America invested in Ukraine and now expects to get the monetary equivalent of that aid back?

@dirtydeeds100 @chris_komatsu Fundamentally, Ukraine received X and now the US want that X back, with a percentage. Sounds like a loan. That the document does not call it that way is not such a big deal.

@re2max @chris_komatsu Thats not what I said, you completely twisted around what I said. I said it would be expensive for us, not russia although that cost certainly would apply to them as well but the point is we're not going to do that unless russia starts making that significant movement first.

@dirtydeeds100 @chris_komatsu Ok, fine. What about a US officer signing off on an ATACMS or HIMARS strike request? Not pressing the buttons, of course, but he is still part of the killchain.

@re2max @chris_komatsu Unless that role involves that soldier actually engaging in combat with Russian forces, no and we're very careful to avoid such a thing.
