Historically, Resident Evil has very few actual puzzles. Most of Resident Evil is "pick this thing up and bring it here." With that said...yeah, Requiem's only real puzzle is the achievement requiring two different playthroughs.

I can totally understand why a Japanese person living in Japan would object to pirating Japanese media. It's readily-accessible, the studios and publishers themselves are relatively small companies who need support, and it's a big part of your economy. But it's hard for me to feel the same about VIZ Media and Crunchyroll here in the US. Most of the money they get doesn't make it back to Japanese creators anyway. So when I want to support Japanese companies and creators, I just buy merch directly from them.

I must rant about video game essay videos that are over an hour long. A lot of them are just the creator going through the entire story from start to finish, explaining every chapter as if the audience hasn't already played the game. It ends up feeling more like a story recap than real analysis, which is the whole reason I clicked on thel video in the first place. @TheLightIsWhite is one of the rare video game essay channels where you can actually sit through the whole video and enjoy it, because he isn't just retelling the events of the story and calling it a "video game retrospective". You can usually tell when a video has been stretched out so the runtime is longer and it pulls in more ad revenue. At this point, it's rare to find video game essay content on YouTube that isn't just someone restating the entire story of the game. Alright, goodbye. Rant over.
