@sahouraxo Sorry, but blowing up bridges is now a war crime? What?
You can say you disagree with the war, but destroying logistics capabilities like bridges has been the basics of military strategy in every war ever fought.

@TruthSynod The three of them were given a tangible preview of the coming kingdom, not a mere symbol, but a real, experiential glimpse of Christ in His kingly glory.

@TruthSynod The words Jesus spoke do not necessitate rewards being given. He said some would “see.” Ask yourself: did Peter, James, and John see Him in His majestic, kingly state? Certainly, Peter tells us as much.

@scripturesvoice I like your posts about your quiet time thoughts. I’m sorry I forgot what you call them

@rootcausesleuth You’re doing good work. You pick your battles. For now, I’ve chosen this one.
English

@scripturesvoice Oh man. I don’t even want to go there.
I’ve got my hands full with Calvinism and related matters here plus shepherding irl
English

@rootcausesleuth I could totally make fun of myself for continuously trying to solve the Israel/Church debate. Don’t worry, I’m self aware. Lol
English

@scripturesvoice No not yet. If you believe that real faith works, you still believe you can save yourself 🤣🫣

@TruthSynod Good questions. I’ll respond tomorrow.

The time of Christ was during the transition period between old covenant type/shadow, and new covenant fulfillment/reality.
Temporary earthly-physical ---> Eternal unseen spiritual.
The fall of the temple in AD70, which was the earthly-physical symbol of the old covenant world, was the consummating event.
The way back into the holy place fully realized.
The completion of all redemptive prophecies.

@allbesaved That’s not what I believe. I guess we’ll see what happens.

Paul said it was being restored in his day. That is what Romans 9-11 is all about. The "Fullness of the Gentiles" is Ephraim (the Dry Bones) entering into Israel. Paul equates the Gentiles receiving the Spirit as the restoration of the Twelve Tribes. It was already happening and was almost complete when Paul wrote Romans in A.D. 58

@scripturesvoice I have a response in favor of past fulfillment, but not now. 🤣
If you're interested, I can share my take later, when I have more time.
