This is indeed the opportunity created by 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐛𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑. This young man has taken advantage of that provision, which gives individuals, businesses, estates, factories, and communities the ability to generate up to 1 megawatt (1MW) of electricity without obtaining a license from the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC). As a stakeholder in the sector, this could be another opportunity for the government to reduce its over-dependency on the national grid. Kudos to this young man, he has surely gotten the grip on his house network, with a proper metering and monitoring system for his neighbours.

Hello, history rewriter, GET DOWN! Dangote refinery was majorly built by Nigerians. Why do people like you have such a penchant for lying and downplaying black people’s efforts and achievements? In this interview, Dangote mentioned “We realized that we had to build our own port, after building the port, we realize that nobody could supply us with cranes 🏗️ ,equipments, we had to do something that people didn’t realize, we now made ourselves as the EPC contractors, which is Engineering, Procurement and Construction” In another interview, he mentioned that the majority of the Nigerian engineers who built his refinery were later employed abroad (somewhere in the UAE) to build another refinery.

🇨🇳🇳🇬 Nigeria, thanks to China, has started selling gasoline instead of just oil. China helped build the $20 billion Dangote Oil Refinery. As a result, approximately 44,000 barrels of gasoline were exported per day in March.

I present to you Lagos State of Nigeria. A state in the western parts of Nigeria; home to the Yoruba people. The evolution of Lagos State stands as a testament to the fact that Nigeria possesses the urban sophistication & economic vitality rivaling any Western metropolis. The disparagement our citizens face on the global stage is not a reflection of a deficit in infrastructure or a lack of opportunity; rather, it is the byproduct of a hyper-critical internal discourse. While our people are naturally adventurous explorers, we must confront the reality that some have chosen to weaponize this spirit to "de-market" our nation. To the purveyors of deceit & the architects of propaganda: your campaign to denigrate the Nigerian image ends here. As the largest economy & the most populous nation in Africa, Nigeria is reclaiming its position of continental leadership. To the steadfast & patriotic Nigerians who maintain an unwavering belief in our collective destiny, we see you. We honor your commitment to promoting the Nigerian brand wherever you stand. Your patriotism is the bedrock upon which our future is built. On the rhetoric of division, we must address those intent on tarnishing the enduring legacy of our founding fathers. To prioritize tribal sentiment over national interest is not just an error in judgment; it is an act of historical ignorance. Political affiliation is not a blood feud, & the era of ethnic-based politics must be consigned to the past. The vision of "One Nigeria" is attainable, but it requires an honest purging of old animosities. We cannot move forward while clutching the grievances of the past. Nigeria is a sovereign entity that transcends any singular, divisive ideology. The hard truth must be spoken regarding the alternatives presented to this nation. We must scrutinize the record of those who seek the highest office: True leadership is measured by the legacy left behind. You cannot claim to be a reformer when your 8-year tenure yielded no sustainable progress. There is a profound lack of confidence in a leader who abandons the very state they governed to reside in the prosperity of Lagos. If the foundation laid in Anambra were truly solid, its architect would not have sought refuge elsewhere. National service requires a "Nigeria-first" philosophy. You cannot intimidate or coerce your way into the corridors of power without first demonstrating a basic respect for the country’s institutions. Lagos flourishes because it embraces continuity & political cohesion. There is a profound lesson to be learned from the Yoruba political tradition of "oneness" & progressive stability. We invite all citizens to: 1. Dismantle the ego: Step down from the "high horses" of divisive rhetoric. 2. Respect Tradition: Honor the elders & the cultural tapestry that defines us. 3. Engage in Dialogue: Address pressing national issues through constructive debate, not vitriol. 4. Foster Fraternity: Be your brother’s keeper. Nigeria is not just a country; it is a destiny. Let us protect it. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria, especially those who believes in it. 🇳🇬 @jidesanwoolu @tokunbo_wahab @officialABAT @RemiTinubu @ARISEtv @channelstv @CNN @BBCNews

@Farmers__Gate @Obijah20001 @SundayDareSD @Onsogbu If farmers at grassroots are truly not getting govt benefits then you all need to cry out to the media houses to get govt attention and have a stakeholders meeting to review the current structure. Govt can’t know the issues with the structure if you don’t tell them.

Just look at how LAWMA staffs swept the road median close to the Landmark Resort area… this is very embarrassing. This level of environmental neglect is unacceptable. LAWMA sweepers can’t even properly sweep the median or paint the kerbs to make the environment look clean and pleasing? How is there concrete and sand on the road median?🤦‍♀️💔 This is honestly an embarrassment to the environmental team. @Lawma_gov @LawmaCares @tokunbo_wahab pls sir look into this..

@olazeeks @Martintalk2 @Midatlblog Check the new law. Everything power is now within state control. From generation to transmission. Some states have already started working on the implementation of the law; Lagos announced theirs last week. The president hasn’t refused this.

@Martintalk2 @Midatlblog Transmission? Can they transit, because we all know that is where the problem lies. The PDP has largely sorted out the generation end, it's unfortunate that the APC has refused to do anything tangible in 11yrs

There’s a reason I don’t bother talking about politics, because for me it’s a waste of time. There are some things you can see with your eyes and use your own initiative. When I see people who live especially on the Island insulting the President, I just shake my head. Let me ask you honestly, which of the ambassadors of “New Nigeria” do you think has the time to build you a coastal road? Nigeria is over 60 years old and has had past presidents, so why didn’t they do it all this while? You are looking at a man that saw traffic k!lling you and not only built an alternative route, but is also developing over 13 bridges and counting to make your life easier, yet you don’t appreciate it. So tell me, which of these emergency saviours has the time to build you a coastal road or alternative routes? Even those of you in places like Bonny Island, Burutu, Gembu, Mambilla and many other parts of Nigeria, you are seeing the access routes being built for you, yet you ignore it and refused to post. Why didn’t the past ones do it? Why didn’t past presidents give us 24-hour power and all these projects? Look at your so-called saviours of New Nigeria,do they look like people that have the mental capacity to deliver these infrastructures? Speaking on security, a particular candidate had 35 Nigerians mysteriously found d3ad during his administration, and till date he cannot still account for it. Is that the person that will protect you? Imagine 35 people found in Lagos Lagoon, won’t you ask Gov. Sanwo-Olu questions? Even in Lagos, with the thug menace recently, people came together to call on the governor to act before it turns to banditry. Yet you cannot hold governors in other states accountable to protect their people? And you think if your candidates come into power, they won’t face their own problems? In Lagos, we are looking to Gov. Jide or the next administration to seriously work on power generation. We have millions of people that can pay for it. So You too need to start holding these governors by the jugular. I tell you this, you won’t easily find a President like PBAT that is touching all 36 states the way he is. These others are lying to you. They won’t do anything, and it won’t be easy for them either. That’s why I keep saying, if you see anything that needs fixing now, let’s get him to do it ASAP. Because from what I’m seeing, these saviours won’t do it. Let’s take advantage of it now hes here, because before we get a President like this again, it may take years. I rest my case. 📷: Saviours of “New Nigeria” who have all, surprisingly, served before, and shockingly didn’t provide any of the infrastructure they are now promising Nigerians.

Yesterday, I met with Peteru 'Omo Iya Eleja' in my office and I was truly inspired by this young man. He took to the streets encouraging residents to clean their surroundings during the monthly sanitation exercise, driven purely by a sense of civic duty and community responsibility. He told me that a clean environment is directly tied to public health and that doing his country job requires no financial reward. This is the spirit that built Lagos and this is the spirit that will sustain a #CleanerLagos and a #GreaterLagos. The story of Peteru should inspire all of us. We celebrate him.

Our deepest appreciation goes out to every single Lagosian who stepped out today to take ownership of our common heritage. Thank you for taking care of your environment, for clearing your drains, sweeping your streets, and sanitizing your surroundings. You have shown that the spirit of collective responsibility is alive and well in our dear Lagos. I must specially commend the entire State Executive Council led by our boss, Mr Governor, @jidesanwoolu and the Deputy, @drobafemihamzat , whose administration stood firm in ensuring that this process comes to reality. I also appreciate the First Lady, Mrs Ibijoke Sanwoolu and the wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs Oluremi Hamzat for leading our team at the commencement of the exercise today. Our Local Government Chairmen across all the twenty Local Government Areas and thirty seven Local Council Development Areas for truly owning this process from the very beginning. Your leadership at the grassroots level is the backbone of this renewed civic culture and I do not take it for granted. I also extend profound gratitude to the various transport unions for their collaboration and for mobilizing their members to actively participate in this exercise. Your partnership is a pointer to the fact that we are all stakeholders in this movement. The journey to a #CleanerLagos and a #GreaterLagos is a long one but it is built on a simple and unshakable truth which is the partnership between the government and the governed. When we work together, nothing is impossible. Thank you Lagos and God bless you all. #LagosSanitationExercise #EnvironmentalSanitation

You have ₦1M for school fees, and the government offers an interest-free student loan. Take the loan. Invest your ₦1M in the money market for a few years, it grow significantly over time. When repayment starts, you return the ₦1M to the government and still keep the gains you’ve made investing. That’s how you make the system work for you. Tactics ni. Have sense for once
