@SingleTicket371 @DizziD59 @opinion_black If you read the above it describes the circumstances under which this man was peeled away from the wall after the line of shields had passed, just as can be seen in the video. I'm pretty sure this didn't happen twice, to 2 separate men.

I watched a video of the disturbances that took place in Southampton and witnessed a group of police attempt to murder what I presume to be a protester. Deliberately using a police shield to hit him in the back of his head. Another officer struck him viciously with a truncheon.

@DizziD59 @opinion_black @SingleTicket371 I don't know who any of these people are. Were you there? Do you know most of the people? The police decided to push the wall of shields to move the crowd back. The mystery man was at the edge so and did not get shoved. I think that's how he came to be alone and then beaten.

@opinion_black @SingleTicket371 I don’t believe this is a protester… I think he’s a plant to stir up tensions.. watch the video - he’s standing alone.. why? He just seems to come from nowhere. No one knows who he is or for that matter how he is? 🤔

Just a little coda to my point above. Institutional racism has been rife within the police for decades. Those who claim two-tier policing, are unable to understand why there are attempts to level the playing field after such a long time.

I see that #TwoTierPolicing is the top trending item this morning. Let's make this very simple — it does not exist in the UK. It is a racist dog whistle invented by the far-right, Reform UK.

@Evilraptor23 @Dplanet @YoungBobRB You think American police get no training and also get given guns?! The controversy around the death of George Floyd was that the head restraint position was part of their training.

@tuftymeadows @Dplanet @YoungBobRB BLM riots happened in the US where the police get no training, are given guns, and are taught to escalate every situation they're in. Incomparable, you absolute smooth brained shitlicker.

Protesters are now setting dumpsters on fire and pushing bins towards the police line. This is the sort of escalation and civil unrest that happens during mass migration.

@Evilraptor23 @Dplanet @YoungBobRB Have you seen the footage of a man having his head kicked in and shield attack from several police mobbing him? That's probably deliberate provocation. Interesting that the British protesters weren't burning cars or damaging people's property. They threw a few wheely bins.

emily@emnode

@wil_da_beast630 George Floyd's history is irrelevant. All human beings possess equal inherent moral worth, independent of their utility or attributes. There is nothing surprising about the civil unrest that followed what everyone saw with their own eyes

🚨🇬🇧 Tommy Robinson stood outside Southampton police station, in front of an angry crowd, and dragged “Pakistani Muslims” and “race gangs” into the murder of Henry Nowak. The man convicted of murdering Henry Nowak is Vickrum Digwa. A British Sikh man. He stabbed Henry five times with a 21cm blade and is serving life, with a minimum term of 21 years. Not Pakistani. Not Muslim. Not a grooming gang. Not a “Pakistani Muslim race gang.” So why bring “Pakistani Muslims” into it? Because Robinson wasn’t explaining Henry’s murder. He was recruiting it into the grievance machine he already sells: grooming gangs, “two-tier policing,” white victimhood, and betrayal by the state. He did not need the killer to be Pakistani or Muslim. He just needed the crowd to feel as if the same enemy was involved. That's what he does. Take a specific tragedy. Strip out the facts. Replace them with the familiar villain. Then tell a crowd: “This is about race.” There is a real scandal here. Henry Nowak was handcuffed as he lay stabbed, telling officers he couldn’t breathe, while the man who stabbed him was initially treated as the victim because he lied. That is horrifying. Hampshire Police have apologised. The IOPC is investigating. One officer has resigned. The Attorney General is reviewing the sentence. Grant all of that. Henry was failed. But Robinson did what he always does. He took a real failure and built a fake racial mythology on top of it. He told the crowd white people are treated as “second-rate citizens” by police. The actual data does not show that. It shows the opposite. Black people in England and Wales are stopped and searched at nearly four times the white rate - almost five times if officer-observed ethnicity is included. Black people are arrested at almost twice the white rate. And in the context that matters most here - people dying after police restraint - INQUEST found Black people are seven times more likely than white people to die following the use of restraint by police. The report is called I Can’t Breathe. Robinson heard Henry’s dying words and tried to turn them into proof that white Britain is oppressed. The restraint-death data says the opposite. Then he pointed the crowd at the killer’s brother, a man who has not been charged over Henry’s murder, told them he had seen him “walking the streets this morning,” and shouted: “Get that family out of Southampton.” Minutes later, police were being pelted with bricks and bottles. The Public Order Act 1986 makes it an offence to use threatening, abusive or insulting words intended, or likely, to stir up racial hatred. Whether this speech crosses that line is for the CPS, not me. But let’s not pretend this is normal politics. A false racial frame. A volatile crowd. A grieving family pleading for Henry’s death not to be used to create division. An uncharged man’s movements read out in public. A demand to drive a family out of Southampton. Then bricks flying at police. That is exactly the territory that law was written for. Henry Nowak was failed by the officers who cuffed him. Now he is being exploited by a man who dragged the wrong racial enemy into the story because the truth was never the point.

Well done, you mouth-breathing cretins. And well done to all the pricks on social media who have done nothing but race-bait over this tragedy. Shameful across the board. As a psychologist, I’ll bet you £100 this is what happened with poor Henry Nowak. Cops suffer from empathy burn out. 90% of the time they deal with nothing but scum. It doesn’t make it right, but that cynicism will have come into play, here. They get a 999 call saying, “A Sikh has been attacked.” They arrive at the scene, there’s a Sikh saying he’s been attacked and someone (Henry) acting strangely. The weapon has been hidden. They will have immediately thought ‘drink or drugs’, and they see no obvious wounds. The murderer laid on exactly the scene the police would have expected to see, had the complaint been genuine. These are pure human confirmation and anchoring biases at play: the cops saw what they expected to see from the info they had going into the situation. They were tricked. Humans make mistakes. Where the cops royally fucked up was not following normal procedures when someone says they have been stabbed, and checking them all over including skin. They should lose their jobs over that negligence alone and for allowing their biases to override their training. I guarantee you “I can’t breathe” inadvertently made things worse as that’s what every single scumbag says when they get arrested, since George Floyd. This absolute tragedy is a sad combination of confirmation and anchoring biases, excessive cynicism, and a criminal failure to follow correct procedures, not to mention a lying, murdering piece of shit and his piece of shit family doing everything they could to confuse the police and muddy the waters. It has nothing to do with diversity. Henry Nowak should not have died at all, but he would have died whatever the police did. However, in these circumstances he should have died with someone holding his hand, trying to save him, and telling him it would be ok, not in handcuffs being read his rights. The police officers who made this dreadful error should lose their jobs and will have to live with that for the rest of their days. Final point: well done to the Hants Police detectives who shredded the murderer’s story and secured a conviction.

@I_amMukhtar I think you will find it’s the police handcuffing a murder victim whilst taking his killer down to the canteen to pick his own dinner, which set people off.

It's incorrect to say that Henry would have died no matter what the police did. If the police hadn't partaken in a culture of anti-white racism, then the Sikh murderer would not have felt emboldened to kill Henry, knowing that he could phone the police, cry racism, and almost get away with it.
