When we get together for off-site working sessions with the @glideapps team, we usually stay in a massive @Airbnb together. I've told people this, and many find it odd. Hackathon culture isn't for everyone... but honestly, I love it so much. It's yet another thing that draws me to Startups like Glide. I get to jam out on interesting problems with brilliant people throughout the day (and night). Last night, @dvdsgl, @shayfrendt, @secondfret, and I were up until 10 listening to music, laughing, and nerding out on the ergonomics of AI software. Today @harkigoldie and DJP will be joining the fun as well. It doesn't feel like working overtime. It feels like hanging out with friends and working through cool problems and topics that you all find interesting... You leave weeks like these feeling so much closer to your team, and so excited to get back to the work. Some of the world's most remarkable products were born this way. Back in SF!! San Francisco is becoming my home away from home, specifically the Bay/ I’ve been here 5 times in the last year, since joining the @glideapps leadership team.
