@Comontwiter Funny, but neither of these companies are shy about ripping off creatives.

@aethyrsun @Comontwiter I mean they have messed up before, but doesn’t adult swim at least try to make up for their mistakes and still give many creatives opportunities most networks don’t? Some creators got make more work there and even finish stuff off like Samurai Jack and that Metalocolypse movie.

@baconandx @Comontwiter I'll give you that, but I'm still salty about how much of my work is in Rick and Morty and that Scavengers short they did. Also, look what they did to FLCL? Unspeakable.

@aethyrsun @Comontwiter I was curious if you did work for them. Since that’s the case I can get why you feel that way. For FLCL, I haven’t seen that one. I’m still new to the Adult Swim scene and got a lot to see.

@baconandx @Comontwiter I did not work for them. They just use API data exploits and other means to redistribute peoples intellectual property. Anytime I draw or write or talk about an idea with friends, it'll immediately get direct-marketed back to me in one of the big franchises.

@transform987 @baconandx @Comontwiter Nah, they've iterated on whole scenes and concepts right out of my notes. Especially affirming when you realize how intentional these companies and the people that work for them are, so everything is layered in Easter Eggs for me.

@transform987 @baconandx @Comontwiter Not very. I live very modestly. I have some degree of proof of that stuff if you're actually interested. Though, no matter the evidence I provide, unverified bots are rarely ever interested in discussing this sort of thing. Just deflecting or insulting me over it.
