
IDK about that. I don't have a lot but some are meaningful, others are meaningless except as a memory (vs. ones that represent a larger accomplishments ). I received one this past weekend as part of a 3/35 Armor reunion that is quite important to me as it is an old one cast when our battalion was running early "slick 60s." So @mccainjack, maybe it's more a question of the award and why it's past along and should be further past along to others who will care for it until the next reunion. I tend to think it's pretty important, especially for a bunch of DATs. But I believe it to be the case that we are the only Army unit active or reserve to be running full reunions every year, split between East vs. West of the Mississippi.
