I am now more convinced than ever that the huge US military budget has been a kind of gravy train investing in overbloated tech that doesn't really work and acting as a sort of make-work scheme. I no longer see it as an unbeatable military.

Russia I understand Putin being a wall kisser. But China being idle is shocking, Taiwan is basically being served up on gold platter by Iran and no movement. Taking back an island in your own backyard should be simple and it’s costly to the west.
