Indian market has underperformed US/China by a staggering 30% over the past 1 year. Then some people start shouting, where were you when India was outperforming the entire world in 2023/24? India is now underperforming US over the past 5 years as well. And that too without accounting for ₹ depreciation. I get so many fund requests and general queries on #MutualFunds What surprises me is that I have not received a single request for any Aditya Birla AMC fund. On a quick check, their Large Cap Fund is around ₹26.7k crore AUM, Flexi Cap Fund is around ₹23.0k crore, ELSS Tax Saver Fund is around ₹13.1k crore and rest all fund below 10k cr. Since July 2024, post hike in capital gain tax and STT, we have lost $100 Bn and our markets have become globally unattractive .we need patient risk capital to fund our growth story. It’s undoing the good work done through various reforms. A responsive govt like yours has always taken feedback on taxation - GST, Income tax and given relief. I urge you to reconsider.
