This is great news but what took so long? What changed? We are nearly a year and a half into this administration and the DOJ has fought and resisted this action the entire time, before suddenly changing course today. There are numerous J6 defendants currently perusing other corrective actions in court and the DOJ continues to oppose them even now. It is time to reveal the full extent of the abuses against J6 defendants by the Garland DOJ, Wray FBI and other federal agencies. J6 must be fully investigated by an independent body and the results revealed for the entire country to see. The DOJ should stop opposing J6 defendants who are seeking legitimate and just actions in their criminal cases. Defendants should receive some sort of restitution for the improper destruction of their lives. Prosecutors and investigators who participated in the persecution must be held accountable to ensure this never happens again. The treatment of J6 defendants by the Biden administration is one of the greatest tragedies in this country’s history and we’ve not yet begun to correct it.
