This unfortunate loss of 5.9 Bitcoin had nothing to do with Ledger. Malicious actors impersonate popular software like Trezor and Sparrow all the time. The cautionary tale is that your keys (generated by your seed words) should ALWAYS remain offline and on your device. That’s the entire point of having a hardware signing device.

I looked at the WLFI presale. Was on vacation. Saw tokens would be locked for a year, laughed, closed laptop and went back to the beach. Obvious scam by a known conman If you were negatively impacted by that presale, I want you to understand that it’s because you’re very stupid

Cautionary tale. A friend was just hacked. He got a new computer, downloaded a ledger wallet app, entered his keys and his bitcoin was instantly gone. Sadly it was a fake ledger app, which should not be allowed to exist in the App Store. Be careful out there.

The NCAA D1 Cabinet will vote next week on 5 years of eligibility for all athletes. Per @RossDellenger the 5-year would give athletes five full years of eligibility from the time of their 19th birthday or their high school graduation, whichever is earliest.

@603Chief Bitcoin has gained more notoriety in recent years and due to this some merchants have started accepting Bitcoin as payment for products or services. If you want to use it like a typical fiat currency, we recommend asking the merchant if they accept Bitcoin first.
