After being fired from @TheBlaze, @RealSteveBaker sat down with the @MegynKellyShow for a two-hour taped interview - going on record for the first time about his investigation into the J6 pipe bomber case and his naming of Capitol Police officer Shauni Kerkhoff as a potential suspect.
That interview will not be aired.
This morning, Baker posted this statement from the Megyn Kelly Show on X:
"After extensive independent legal review, without having access to certain sources referenced throughout the interview, we are not able to air the interview at this time… We remain very interested in this story, and will be in touch should there be further developments."
Baker says he cannot confirm why the interview was pulled - but he's not willing to call it coincidence either.
"I do know of a recent story where the DOJ actually flew out an individual to meet with a journalist to talk them out of running an interview."
Think on that...
Baker is now publicly demanding the dismissal of @FBIDirectorKash and says there is a lot more still to come.
The pattern here is not subtle.

"I know of a total of 5 calls from the 7th floor of the Hoover Building… complaining about my reporting." Baker says those calls went to top executives at his outlet (before his story was even published) as he prepared to name Capitol Police officer Shauni Kerkhoff as a potential suspect. But it goes deeper than that: - Kerkhoff allegedly FAILED an FBI polygraph when asked if she placed the pipe bombs on January 5th, 2021 - She now works for the @CIA - The DOJ moved to sanction defense attorneys who presented this evidence in court - calling it a "threat" to Kerkhoff Baker also says the American public was deliberately kept in the dark on the footage: "The FBI reduced the footage… you can't determine the gait from that." The footage the FBI released publicly was just 1 frame per second, rendering it nearly unidentifiable. When Baker moved forward with the reporting, the pressure intensified. Calls from federal officials (allegedly including FBI @FBIDirectorKash directly to @TheBlaze founder @GlennBeck) led to internal pushback. Baker was ultimately let go. "This seems to be a trend - a very troubling trend." Baker says he has more to drop. The question is whether anyone will let him.
