Narrator: So it turned out that buying the worst properties in the worst markets and aggressively raising rents was not the brilliant and innovative strategy that the syndicator gurus would have had you believe it was.

Once again, the point of all this was to clear the field in the CA Governor's race because a Republican may have actually won due to Democrat vote splitting. That's it, that's all. They want him out of the race, and don't actually care about the SA allegations, otherwise they'd be very clear about demanding his resignation from Congress too. But they're not. They knew Swalwell was a creep for years but everyone dutifully kept it quiet -- reporters, party leadership, even the victims themselves. Until it was necessary to deploy it for political purposes. Now they're all demanding he drop out of the Governor's race immediately, but not Congress. What? It's so unbelievably transparent. But this is how the Democrats operate. And it's getting much worse.

CNN: “Do you think [Eric Swalwell] should resign from Congress or face expulsion.” WARNER: “I have seen the reports…if any of these reports are true he should at least no longer be a candidate for Governor. But again I don’t know any of the facts.”

California is headed for a disaster named Tom Steyer. A seething, attention-mongering cuckoo bird. Mahan is under 10%. Porter is a turn-off. The GOP’rs aren’t electable like Schwarzenegger would be. Swalwell will still get 20%. I scout the horizon for hope and can’t see any.

Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt rips LA Mayor Karen 'Basura' (trash) Bass over the 6th Street Bridge disaster. The bridge is completely dark because criminals have stolen all the lights. The bridge was completed in 2022 and cost just shy of $600 M; however, millions more will now reportedly have to be spent to relight the bridge. "Mayor Basura is planning to take two hundred more million dollars of our tax money to get solar power lights. Oh, because the criminals won't steal those,” said @spencerpratt.

Once the numbers are available, it is possible to run an analysis to identify the fifty worst judges in America, meaning those who are putting the country and its citizens in severe danger. You go after those first fifty. You use whatever legal means are available to get them impeached. You investigate whether they have engaged in corruption. Whatever is within the scope of the law, you use to remove them from power. As people are removed from the list, you replace them with the next worst remaining, so the list always contains fifty. If you were to do this with a couple of wealthy sponsors, you would likely need a team of three or four people to handle the investigations and a lawyer to file suits. That effort would provide a significant service to America and Americans. Put the judiciary on notice.

I built CourtWatch.us — a free public database for American citizens who deserve safer communities. You can track which judges released defendants who then got rearrested, skipped court, or violated their release conditions. All public records. All free. I started with Orange County FL and will be expanding to all 67 Florida counties and eventually every state in the country. This first batch of info is from 2024 and since public reports are released in March/April for the previous year, data is behind. But I wanted to see if this is plausible. After adding 2024,I'll add 2025 and then figure out how to get real-time-data uploaded. It's in beta — would love to know what you think 👇 Numbers don't lie, but criminals do. courtwatch.us @bennyjohnson @jockowillink @GrantCardone @LauraLoomer @nickshirleyy @j_fishback

That’s weird that the Alameda County Democratic Party knew knew about Swalwell’s “behavior towards women” “at all levels”, because less than a month ago one of their regional chartered groups endorsed him for governor. Did they just not care?

I’ve covered Eric Swawell since he was a member of the Dublin City Council. Shortly after being elected to Congress in 2013, his behavior towards women was known by all levels of our local government and the Alameda County Democratic Party.

The State of California makes more money off a gallon of gas than the oil company that refined it and got it to market. Almost $2 of every gallon there goes to Sacramento’s coffers. And these people are *still* mumbling about “corporate greed” and more taxes.
Rep. Ro Khanna@RepRoKhanna

Trump's immoral and reckless war in Iran has shot up gas prices in my district to nearly $6 a gallon. Stop the war, stop exporting our crude oil, and pass my windfall profits tax on Big Oil to give Americans a rebate for their gas bills.

According to Waymo's published data, their technology is preventing injuries & deaths. My view is that if this is true, and I have yet to see a debunking of their data, then we safety advocates should be welcoming the technology. If Waymo is lying or manipulating data, then write about how they're doing that! Instead the analysis in this recent Streetsblog article is limited to "the authors of the Waymo safety report work for Waymo!" FFS, are we going to toss out all the NYCDOT reports about how their bike lanes improve safety? Are we going to toss out the decongestion pricing reports because they were written by the transit employees who want transit to succeed? I hope not! Here's what we've been told by Waymo: ✅ 170.7 million rider-only miles driven without a human driver (equivalent to roughly 200 human lifetimes of driving). ✅ 92% fewer serious injury or worse crashes compared to human drivers in the same cities and conditions (0.02 incidents per million miles vs. 0.22 for humans; 35 fewer such crashes). ✅ 83% fewer airbag-deployment crashes in any vehicle (230 fewer crashes). ✅ 82% fewer injury-causing crashes overall (544 fewer crashes). ✅ 92% fewer pedestrian injury crashes compared to human benchmarks. ✅ 85% fewer cyclist injury crashes. ✅ 81% fewer motorcycle injury crashes. ✅ No fatalities caused by the Waymo Driver across these 170.7 million driverless miles. ✅ At current scale (over 4 million miles per week), Waymo prevents 1 serious injury crash every 8 days. If data is manipulated or false, then report on that. Otherwise you come out looking like someone who only likes safety benefits that aren't shaped like a car. It's going to set back Vision Zero advocacy in states across the country that are on the fence about allowing autonomous vehicle operations. Waymo does have a profit motive. So do corporations who build homes, distribute food, host concerts, publish books, and make medicine. Not all of them are the same and some are downright awful. Always challenge motives and incentives. What's interesting about Waymo is that they have a financial incentive in being the absolute safest form of motorized vehicle on the street. They'll lose business if their software is just as dangerous as an average human driver. But that in no way means streets must be overtaken by motor vehicles (theirs or any other brand). What do we want? 92% fewer pedestrian injury crashes compared to humans? 85% fewer cyclist injury crashes? Then come up with a way to let AVs into cities across the country.

Quite a mess brewing in Calif. But some of us can remember a gov race there that featured a porn star, the kid from Diff’rent Strokes, Arianna Huffington, a 100-year-old woman, Larry Flynt, a sumo wrestler and … Arnold Schwarzenegger.
