@market_sleuth Do counter-trend bounce usually have to last a few days to be considered one? Or is one day suffice?

I’m convinced many people have lost the ability to read. I didn’t call for new ATH’s or say that we’re out of the woods. Only that yesterday was a bear trap. Which it was. This is merely a counter-trend bounce. Whining about it doesn’t alter the tape $1. 🤦🏼‍♂️

My own general rule of thumb when it comes to using gex to give a clue of short term trend direction is, in this instance I trust no rally to be sustainable unless net gex for calls can get at least one strike over 1BLN or the Put Wall net gex drops below -1BLN. Until then I consider any "pumps" to be entry opportunities for the prevailing trend which in this case is puts.
