#Afghans must realize that war is an extraordinarily costly and devastating enterprise. Over the past forty years, Afghanistan has fought two major wars both sustained by the backing of foreign superpowers. The first war took place during the Soviet era. At that time, the Afghan government’s entire budget was financed by the Soviet Union, while the Taliban or Mujahideen were funded by the United States, and other allies. It is said that during those days, fuel tankers outside Bagram Airbase were left open, allowing ordinary Afghans to collect fuel freely. Despite their political agenda, the Soviets introduced infrastructure and public welfare schools, hospitals, roads, and power projects that laid the foundation for modern Afghanistan. Then came the Taliban, followed by the Americans. For the next two decades, the United States effectively carried Afghanistan’s entire economy on its shoulders. Government expenditures, salaries, and development initiatives were all driven by American aid. Even the Taliban indirectly benefited financially through U.S. or NATO contractors, which prolonged the conflict. However, the situation today is completely different. Pakistan’s case is not the same. It is not a wealthy nation capable of sustaining Afghanistan’s military or public expenditures. While limited financial assistance from India, iran might be possible, none can provide the kind of robust support once offered by Moscow or Washington. This time, if war erupts, it will be the first conflict Afghans will have to finance and fight on their own. The Taliban now bear responsibility not only for their fighters but for the welfare of forty million Afghan citizens. In the event of a confrontation with Pakistan, the Taliban would stand little chance against the Pakistan Air Force. Aerial strikes could devastate vital infrastructure oil depots, power grids, water reservoirs, and communication networks. Such a scenario would push Afghanistan back by three to four decades, plunging its people into poverty, hunger, and darkness. Those making decisions in Kabul must act with reason and foresight rather than emotion and pride. Choosing the path of war would bring destruction not only to their adversaries but to their own people as well. The Taliban might manage minor skirmishes or isolated border attacks, but they fail to grasp the magnitude of the potential consequences. Pakistan’s military and air power could inflict losses that Afghanistan cannot afford to bear. Therefore, the Taliban leadership must act with prudence, pursue diplomatic avenues, and safeguard the future of their people. Because this time, there will be no United States, no Russia , only the Afghan nation itself, and its destiny. @SamiYousafzaii

The word “may” has not been interpreted in the manner suggested in this post. In the Hisba Bill Case, the Supreme Court of Pakistan gave its opinion under Article 186 of the Constitution of Pakistan, upon a reference made by the President, and held that the President is bound to act in accordance with that opinion. In contrast, in the Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi Case, proceedings were conducted under Article 209 of the Constitution of Pakistan, where the Supreme Judicial Council of Pakistan had made its recommendation. In such proceedings, there is no absolute requirement for the Commission to hear a judge. Therefore, converting the word “may” into “shall” would amount to rewriting the Constitution. The authority, under the Constitution, rests with the majority of the Judicial Commission to decide whether a judge should be called and heard or not. It’s JCP a constitutional body not a Press Club .
Matiullah Jan@Matiullahjan919

The Judicial Commission of Pakistan is bound to honour the request of Justice Babar Sattar for an audience under Article 200 proviso which says the commission “may hear the judge” before transferring him. The word "may” has already been interpreted by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in relation to removal of judges wherein it was declared that the Article 209 of the constitution grants President the power that he "may remove the judge” and the word may has to be read as "shall" which makes it binding for the commission to hear the judge before transferring him.

With Kiwis facing higher prices at the pump and for everyday goods, the best way to prevent inflation is by restoring stability in the Gulf and returning safe shipping to the Strait of Hormuz.   That’s why I spoke with Pakistan’s Prime Minister, @CMShehbaz, tonight. I thanked the Prime Minister for his work facilitating a ceasefire between the United States and Iran, and for Pakistan’s tireless efforts towards a longer-term peace.   The best pathway to a sustainable solution in the Middle East is through diplomacy.

As trusted harbingers of international harmony, diplomats are the architects of peace, entrusted with navigating the delicate complexities of international relations through the patient craft of dialogue, empathy, and understanding. I wish to express my sincere and profound appreciation to H.E. Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Honorable Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, as well as to the veteran, competent and career diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, for their tireless endeavors in facilitating, coordinating, and meticulously preparing the arrangements for the delegations and talks, often long before the talks themselves commenced. Their dedicated efforts translate political will and principled determination into the practical avenues and arrangements necessary for any diplomatic process to take shape. This is diplomacy in its truest sense, not merely words, but the quiet, persistent labor that makes dialogue possible and peace attainable. Their professionalism and commitment deserve deep recognition and gratitude. @MIshaqDar50 @ForeignOfficePk

@maryamnawazkhan I can speak only for myself: I feel deceived and used. I would have enjoyed learning more about the media landscape privately, but our images were blasted out in association with a political statement implying our solidarity to criticize a foreign country in which we’re guests.

🚨🇮🇳 India is systematically running a campaign against Pakistan. It has created thousands of accounts that pose as Pakistanis. Through these accounts, campaigns are run against Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates in an attempt to damage Pakistan’s relations with these brotherly countries. These accounts are also used to run campaigns against Pakistan and its institutions in order to spread anarchy within the country. One such account, operating under the name Ayesha Ufaq, has been active since 2021 while presenting itself as Pakistani. When its old posts were checked, it was found that on 26 February 2021, the account was calling Indian pilots its heroes. Moreover, in 2021 it uploaded a picture of a woman whose attire does not appear Pakistani in any way, nor does the location in the image seem to be in Pakistan. When this was exposed, the Indian account began deleting its old posts. However, the account location still shows South Asia. If it claims to be from Islamabad, Pakistan, then why hesitate to show its location as Pakistan?

Iranian Foreign Minister arrived in Islamabad, held a two hour meeting with PM Sharif and a longer one with Field Marshal Munir, then left for Oman. Within 24 hours, he returned to Pakistan for a high level meetings and departed for Moscow. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister was in contact with Moscow, Turkey and Saudi Arabia while the Iranian Foreign Minister was in Islamabad. What was New Delhi doing during this time? Exporting TTP to Chittagong for greater regional destabilisation.

Dear Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi , IG Islamabad , Police, Hope you are doing well. Just saw this tweet and thought to write you. Transgender people are among the most marginalized groups in Pakistani society, yet the abuse of a member of this community by a federal police officer reflects that the police have not been taught how to treat marginalized groups with respect and humanity. Since you are leading the federal police please make this case an example and take strong action against those responsible. At the same time, introduce a course in your police training school on marginalized communities and how the police should interact with them. I hope and trust that you will do the needful. Regards,Azaz Syed @ICT_Police @Isbpolice1

After meeting Pakistan's military Chief Asim Munir in the White House last year, President Trump asked his team: "Who are these Pakistanis? It's a small country. This puny little country, which has got the atom bomb also, beat the hell out of Indians in this encounter. So who are these folks?"

India is literally preparing for a war just so they can win back their lost credibility & global position. They think that by securing a land victory in the next round with Pakistan, would back their lost global profile. If they think the PAF fought a multi-domain war, just wait till they face the Pakistan Army.
