@whiteraven271 Flour hasn't changed in any amount whatsoever in terms of harboring bacteria. People have always gone out of their way to avoid eating raw flour regardless of cooking/prepping methods. It's only in the last hundred years or thereabouts that it's even culturally significant .

@BlauNate Eggs are both refrigerated and easy to isolate in batches for contamination prevention. Flour dust cannot be easily batched as it's more of an explosive danger than anything. Dry baking in a separate facility ensures safety similar to egg pasteurization at least.
