@japan_nobunaga I do- I think the math that is popularly agreed upon is that in rural areas it’s something like 1 in 2 or a 1-1 ratio of gun ownership. Big cities, that number drops. The ratio generally of people to guns here is like 350m- over 500m guns, realistically close to a billion.

Be honest with me, Americans 🇺🇸 Do you actually own a gun? In Japan, I have never seen a real one. Not once. Not at a friend's house. Not in a drawer. Never. But online, every American just goes "oh, mine's in the nightstand" like it's a phone charger 🔌 So now I'm genuinely curious: What's YOUR gun? The very first one you ever got? Is this normal everywhere in the US? Or just some states?

My one son still has his permit and my older son has one speeding ticket that he went to whatever drivers course was but it was five miles over. @LUFC1992_v2 Not normally. But the Iran situation has our prices higher because Big Oil is exporting more than they maintain for domestic production. Also doesn’t help that all or most of the major precursors are made in the gulf states. Usually it’s under $3 per- $2.

I need to ask about gas prices. I paid $3.27 a gallon at Buc-ee’s. Is that considered a good price? For a comparison I’ve worked out the average price back home in the UK is $7.24 a gallon…
