@COPIER @ShawnRyanShow Couldn’t agree more. But I don’t think that should happen on SRS since there’s usually no pushback. We would get the same political type answers. The Hunter Biden and Gavin interview suggest that. Love to see it on a different podcast though.

@850Jags @ShawnRyanShow Agreed. Another example was that anti Israel guy who said Trump can run again in the next administration as the VP.

I’ll say this, you need to push back on junk information regardless of who says it. Example- you can’t treat what Nick Shirley has to say as truth and not push back when Gavin Newsom says something else. Things can be philosophically agreeable without being true when applied to specific situations (similar to Cenk’s interview).

@joekent16jan19 if Trump didn’t bite back in February, what would have stopped Iran from just waiting for trumps term to end and go back to business as usual after?

Prior to letting the Israelis lead us into this war, President Trump was actually poised to cut a better deal than the JCPOA (aka the Obama Iran deal). The Iranians feared and respected Trump in a way they never respected Obama—he took out the terror mastermind Qasem Soleimani, yet was prudent enough not to get sucked into the quicksand of another Middle Eastern quagmire that would only favor Iran and strengthen its hardliners. That’s why, as soon as he returned to office in January 2025, the Iranians stopped their proxies from attacking us and were immediately open to negotiations. President Trump can still correct course, but he has to break the current stalemate cycle we are in: Get us out of the military standoff. Restrain the Israelis. Leverage the potential of sanctions relief to open the Strait of Hormuz and secure a new deal on the nuclear issue.
Marco Foster@MarcoFoster_

President Obama on Iran: “We pulled it off without firing a missile. We got 97% of their enriched uranium out. There’s no dispute that it worked and we didn’t have to kill a whole bunch of people or shut down the Strait of Hormuz”

They Expect You to Be the Next Victim Just a reminder that October 7th was over two years ago, and not only did the press downplay the massive atrocities committed against women and children, but governments including our own purposely buried critical facts from the public. People were not told that Osama bin Laden’s own sons were involved in the planning for this massive coordinated attack, or that it was not just Hamas on the ground. Terrorists tied to Al-Qaeda, ISIS, and yes, even the Taliban of all things, were all there, too. The terrorists have evolved and we can’t even get the truth out to the public regarding this convergence. I like to ask people, why do you think so many of the attackers during October 7th were on hooked Captagon? Because they got hooked on it sitting around in Syria waiting for the attacks to kick off. A simple fact no one seems to understand. When you are lied to about the enemy, a large portion of the country is left mentally and physically unprepared. October 7th is not viewed by these terrorist groups as an isolated event. It was treated as a dress rehearsal for their upcoming attacks against the U.S. homeland. That is not speculation, it is what Al-Qaeda senior trainers told terrorists while they were cross-training in Afghanistan for both October 7th and the U.S. homeland plot. If your math is good you are realizing some of these terrorists have been on U.S. soil since 2023. They think about the attack they are going to carry out every single second of every day. They walk by you on the street and the supermarket and fantasy about the harm coming to you. Our government can stick its head in the sand all it wants and continue to make a mockery out of the counterterrorism fight, but refusing to educate yourself on the tactics used by the more than 8,000 terrorists involved in the October 7th attack does not just put you at a disadvantage, it puts the people you love at risk too. Do not look away, especially when that is exactly what the terrorists and the useful idiots aiding and abetting them want. They expect you to stay distracted, silent, fearful, and willing to become the next victim. Time to say: HELL NO!

Before I went SF I was a Cav Scout back in the early 90s. My unit was at NTC and we were far forward of the front line trace (roughly 10K). I was the TC of my track and dismounted to go talk to my Section Sergeant at his track. This was to prevent unnecessary comms that might have gotten is DF'ed. While I was dismounted along with one of my vehicle dismount crew members both vehicles got shot (killed) by a hidden T-72 ambush line. I was now dismounted with a PRC-126 as my only means of commo and it wasnt going to reach the lead elements that were behind us planning a morning attack. I grabbed my other dismount and we humped the center of the bowling alley from our vehicles to our HQ section co-located with the Battalion Command. We humped 10K+ in about two hours to alert them of the trap waiting for them. For those wondering we went down the center of the bowling lane because the sides were littered with enemy recon and the center is the hardest to see given the old night vision we had back then. It was my call and it worked. In a neer peer environment armor may get shot out from under you and given the necessity to disperse because of the new UAV threat you may find yourself humping 5-10K to get to friendly assets. The old armor adage of "Death before dismount" won't cut it on today's neer peer battlefields.
