the world needs more clear eyed personal responsibility. if you eat meat (particularly from industrial farms) you should be comfortable admitting that you don't care about all animals in the same way because that is just necessarily true?

@DeadOnThePage @RobinPoedev I think that's what I love the most about the game thematically, it has so many angles, death, grief, performing childhood and adulthood and they come together through the idea of letting go/moving on and are tied up by Buddhist symbolism they don't make them like they used to

@RobinPoedev It's hard to argue against Majora's Mask being the most thematically complex story out of any Zelda game. Everyone wants to delve into the metaphors for death and grieving and that's definitely present, but there's still a lot more going on. The childhood angle is fascinating.

i think Majoras mask only starts to make since once you realize how much of it is about Link. Oot link is a kid, who forced into adulthood, then forced back into childhood, and Majora has a almost single minded obsession with the emotional effect this has had on him

This is also DS1 where magic was just busted regardless. Until you get Dark Bead from dlc Soul Spear is still deleting most enemies in the game. DS3 magic builds need way more investment and items to do work
