“If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry. ” - Satoshi Nakamoto

@lentymor @ACMEonBTC That’s great to know 🥂I just read about Acme using UTXO system and I have been making contents about it talk 🔜

NFT platforms shutting down and sunsetting storage is to be expected. The message is clear: permanence lives on Ordinals. If you care about your legacy, put your work on Bitcoin.

BREAKING: Ethereum NFT platform @foundation just announced that it is shutting down and that all of the art will be rugged in one year This is why it's important to store art fully on-chain with protocols like Ordinals

Ordinals are the only NFT protocol with credible permanence Art on Bitcoin is forever.

When I acquire @foundation I'm putting the artists and collectors who fought to keep Foundation alive at center. Lets bring back the golden age of NFT Art. Let's make this happen @saturnial : - $1M overpay offer - My full-stack tech lab - Already connected to most major OG artists & collectors

the biggest leaders in ordinals have the biggest platforms and almost never onboard or spotlight artists outside the bubble. early on we did. then it stopped. now it’s token pumps and tools for each other. missed opportunity. bring in real names. what the fuck are we doing here?

It’s actually insane how this “stepping away from Foundation” announcement still shamelessly pivots into bragging about Blackdove’s installations being up 40% YoY and telling people to “stay tuned to Blackdove”. Pure corporate bullshit disguised as a community update. Artists and collectors deserve way better than this tone-deaf exit spin.

ARTISTS - How to secure your digital art via IPFS Nodes (Easy way) As time goes on, many minted artworks are at risk, and it's up to us to secure them. So here's a simple way to add a layer of security to them by adding additional pins.

Dear Foundation Community, We are in the midst of a transformational shift in digital art adoption. Installations are up 40% year-over-year at Blackdove as the medium becomes an everyday part of life across homes, offices, and hospitality properties in an increasingly elevated way. The unfortunate news we must share has no correlation to the demand for digital art. For a combination of reasons, we have made the difficult decision to pause our ongoing support of the Foundation platform and return management to Kayvon and his team for an orderly transition. Our intent in acquiring Foundation was to complete the Blackdove software infrastructure with asset tokenization. Blackdove requires a fully integrated infrastructure that allows clients to browse, purchase, and display digital art seamlessly to deliver the level of service our clients demand. The acquisition of Foundation was intended to solve the purchasing layer of that experience. Due to the fast-moving nature of the acquisition, full due diligence was only able to be completed post-operational handover. During this phase, it became evident that building our own marketplace is the path that makes the most sense for where we are taking the company. Kayvon and the Foundation team have been handed back the keys to the platform and have already begun making accommodations to serve you as a community. We want to be clear: their team did an incredible job working alongside us throughout this process, and we wish them — and all of you — the very best. Stay tuned to @blackdoveart for updates on our continued journey. Warm regards, Marc Billings Blackdove
