The Escalation Trap of War is the worst kind of Sunk Cost Fallacy. The idea that prior casualties is grounds for escalation only guarantees more casualties. This war was always a grave error, ground troops will only compound it further. No more war with Iran.

I don’t think it’s preposterous to suppose that they plan on maintaining the only stable civilized nation on earth, and rule the rest of the planet from it. Their exceptionalism as a westernized modern civilization nested within an unapologetically and uniquely ethno-religious state, as they furiously work for the inverse in every other advanced nation, makes this more than plausible.

Norwood, Bronx: Teen Stomped on in Oval Park Reportedly Missing Since February, Mom Says ─────────────── A video circulating online showing a young female teen being assaulted and stomped on in the face by a group of other teens on Wednesday, April 1, in the Williamsbridge Oval park in the Norwood section of The Bronx, has been reported missing, according to the teen’s mom. The brutal incident took place where 14-year-old of Ángel Miguel Mendoza Hernández was fatally stabbed during a group assault on Aug. 5, 2025. In the video, a fight appears to break out in the vicinity of the Williamsbridge Oval Recreation Center near the basketball courts between a group of teens. Several teens are heard shouting in shock at the sight of the fight while others film it. At least one young female teen is seen being stomped on in the face by another girl, after which her head hits the pavement, and she is also seen being hit/punched by another boy. Another person, seemingly male, also appears to be assaulted a short distance away. One girl is heard saying seemingly to the girl on the ground something to the effect of, “Don’t you come back into this f*cking park, Bitch.” We also asked the local NYC Parks’ employees at the recreation center if they had seen or heard the apparent assault on Wednesday and the manager said they had not.
