Ok serious question: why would an Adobe, Apple or Blackmagic buy Avid (as many think/wish) when they all already have a much more modern NLE? For the storage and mix hardware? For ProTools? The installed user base? Caché in Hollywood?

Going to say it: both Satya Nadella and Parag Agrawal are a refreshing counter-balance to "switch companies every few years for a better position/more compensation." They both rose from sw eng to CEO of their respective companies: unlikely they would have done if hopping jobs.

VR gaming friends - I need glasses that I can wear inside a VR headset. Meta Quest 2, PSVR1 and, in the near future I hope, a PSVR2. Any recommendations on brands that work well? I've seen a few things online. I'd love something I can wear regardless of headset. Thanks!
