If I were to diagnose what went wrong this season (in order):
1) Injury (Adams, FVV, DFS, etc…)
2) Lack of offensive imagination
3) Lack of spacing/handling
4) Mistake to double down on bigs
5) Weak bench
6) Defense declined - particularly at point of attack and at the rim

Losses like tonight’s make the Giannis trade feel inevitable. At least this time, I’ll have months to talk myself into it. We didn’t get that benefit back in 2020 regarding Russ, who I similarly despised at the time, maybe even more than I do Giannis right now.
