A back-of-napkin tally on LSU’s big ticket spending spree since late October, which is at least $190 million, not counting staffs or increased player budgets. There’s an expected $72 million in dead money, depending on Wade's NC State buyout terms. Brian Kelly buyout -- $54 million Lane Kiffin buyout from Ole Miss -- $3 million Matt McMahon buyout -- $8 million Will Wade buyout -- $5.3 million (drops to $3 million April 1) Lane Kiffin contract -- $91 million Will Wade contract – Approximate $30 million (details have not been announced) (LSU's football roster projects at more than $40 million. Basketball investment will inevitably increase as well.)
