I found this post elsewhere and it's just silly. Some of us have lots of hobbies when we have time to do them. Currently reading church history, and I have other books in the queue including one on Catholic catechism and some classics. I researched autism, down syndrome, got a certification in nutritional therapy, pay attention to geopolitics, degree in anthropology, B2 level Spanish and French, studied Russian, Tagalog, Japanese and Tsalagi. Admittedly rusty in the last four but I'm caregiving an adult daughter with disabilities. Studied middle eastern dance, hand sewed, did Cherokee beadwork on moccasins and made wall hangings for fun. I can crochet, sing, draw portraits and enjoy logic puzzles. I did lift but fractured my ankle and had a herniated disc. Doing mobility work to get back into it this upcoming week. Oh and I can cook special diets when I never knew how to cook before. I also homeschool my youngest in high school and do therapies for my disabled daughter. When my youngest graduates next year, I'm raising chickens, restarting the language study and want to learn to sew and garden in a way that the darn bunnies and squirrels won't eat everything. Is that interesting enough?
