@ChrisSpoke @RomanFisher__ And that is a major problem. How sub-par is the instruction/curriculum if this is the norm? Besides, it’s not like they’ll fail you for not going. Or for not learning the material.

@RomanFisher__ I went to maybe a third of my grade 12 classes and it was fine. Going to more classes wouldn’t have lead to more learning.

Call me crazy, but parents should be fined if their kids are absent from school regularly without a justifiable reason. This whole thing happening in Ontario with attendance feels like neglectful parenting.

@TLNewmanMTL When you’re held back by the teacher so as to accommodate the least capable student in the room, why bother? Or teachers who can barely speak English? Why go?
