Toronto Police Officer Charged After Alleged Unauthorized Database Access A Toronto Police Constable has been arrested and charged following an internal investigation into alleged unauthorized access of police databases. According to police, it is alleged that the officer unlawfully accessed private police records on multiple occasions between June and December 2025. Constable Rifat Hassan, 33, has been arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a computer. The investigation was conducted by the Toronto Police Service, which has not released additional details about the nature of the information accessed. The officer is from 53 Division and has approximately 10 months of service. The process for suspension without pay has commenced as per the requirements of the Community Safety and Policing Act of Ontario.
