Based on people who were tweeting back then in 2011-2013 when obi was governor is simply what you see today, Obi didn’t give them a dime and they chose to work for the opposition who was ngige. I had this same conversation with someone here sometime last year who said he was serving in anambra state as a youth corper during obi’s tenure and was mostly loved by children and hated by youths in their late 20s and 30s. I asked him and he said because obi was stingy and doesn’t want to release allocations for the youths the same way the past governments always do.
