NEW: Disgruntled employee starts massive fire at a 1.2 million square foot warehouse in Ontario, California. 29-year-old Chamel Abdulkarim was arrested on arson charges for setting a Kimberly-Clark warehouse on fire. 🚨JUST IN: US SENATE MIGHT DELAY CLARITY ACT The US Senate is unlikely to advance digital asset market structure legislation before April, US Senator Majority Leader John Thune, says. The legislation, known as the CLARITY Act, aims to establish a regulatory framework for digital asset markets, according to @CoinTelegraph. Lawmakers will prioritize other legislation first. The Senate plans to vote on the SAVE America Act next week. That bill requires in-person proof of US citizenship to register voters. Crypto legislation will be considered afterward. The market structure bill is expected from the Banking Committee.

The banks are so powerful they can deny the US president access. Imagine a bank in North Korea denying their supreme leader access. Banks own politicians. The Treasury Dept knows we need bond purchases or we collapse the USD. So banks will lose because dollars will become worthless if they continue the fight.

Why are banks fighting the crypto Clarity Act? Banks lend your money out the second you deposit it. They lend it to 30 year mortgages, car loans and 100 other fractional reserve loans. They earn the Fed fund rate on their liquidity but pay you 0.1% interest basically nothing. So if enough people ask for their money back, well they don’t have enough to cover, because they have lent it out for profit. The Clarity Act creates an option for people to move their money from the banks to crypto StableCoins and earn more than 0% yield. The banks are terrified of this. If the Clarity Act passes as is, and enough people move their money to Stable Coins, this can bankrupt the banks. Few will tell you this. Now you know.
