$QANX community devs welcome the latest news. People who have built visible apps and engaged throughout the process are the opinions you should seek. Johann may not know how to talk to retail, but obviously he knows how to engage enterprise and government. It is frustrating as a retail holder that the team can't quite figure out how to share news and manage expectations at this stage. The news is positive, Johann is thrilled, and yet it doesn't provide the substance or assurance that these agreements strengthen the prospects without further delay. It has to be disappointing for everyone involved that this news had a negative result. There must be someone who can provide feedback before communications go out. As an FYI, the follow up questions give us mainnet ETA of 2026.

Did we just add more ingredients to the word salad? Keep it simple- quantum computers exist. Scaling has been happening. Innovation is coming at all angles. This means there is risk our existing cryptography can be broken in the coming years. To protect against that risk, you need to upgrade cryptography. Systems that continue to waste time trying to convince themselves the risk doesn't exist, are the ones that will be burned. And even if they never do, public opinion will be that they are no longer secure. Regardless of where you sit on this topic, one thing is for certain. There is a MAJOR market forming for all the systems that WILL take this very seriously and look to upgrade. @QANplatform is in that space, and I think it will emerge in a big way. Get this on the radar asap.

Q-Day will not be announced with a headline. There will just be wallets draining. Here is how it actually plays out for the people holding assets when it happens. It is a Tuesday morning in 2029. A security researcher in Geneva, let us call her Laura, is running a routine audit on a post-quantum migration report for a mid-sized European bank. The bank did the work. They migrated their internal comms two years ago. Updated their certificate infrastructure. Rotated keys. They went through the checklist and signed off. Their CISO presented it to the board as done. But buried in Laura's audit is a single line item she almost skips, Legacy transaction signatures, 2019 to 2023. Not re-signed under PQC. Archived, not active. She pauses. Those transactions are not active. The bank is not using them. They are just sitting in the archive, like old files in a folder nobody opens. Except this is not a folder on a hard drive in a server room the bank controls. This is a blockchain. Archived does not mean gone. Archived means permanently stored, publicly accessible, readable by anyone with an internet connection, forever. A quantum computer powerful enough to run Shor's algorithm does not care that those transactions are old. It does not need permission to access them. It does not need to break into anything. The public keys are right there on-chain. As they always were. As they were designed to be. And a public key, to a sufficiently advanced quantum computer, is just the beginning of the calculation. The exposure did not happen in 2029. It happened the day each transaction was broadcast. The quantum computer just has to show up. Laura types slowly now. Because the question she is adding to her report is not "could this happen." It is "how many other ledgers have this same line item and do not know it yet."

When Cloudflare, banks, ISPs and governments all start moving at the same time, that's not a trend. That's a tipping point. Cloudflare has been working on post-quantum cryptography since 2017. Nine years later, they're not testing it, they're running it at scale, on over half of human web traffic globally. Last week they closed the last gap: full PQC coverage across their entire SASE platform using ML-KEM, the NIST-standardized algorithm. NIST wants the industry transitioned by 2030. The US federal government has a hard deadline of 2035. The UK's NCSC already published a phased national migration roadmap. This isn't the beginning of the conversation. The big players are already mid-migration.
