You need hobbies outside of gaming, too. But never forget to learn from gaming's own past and future! @nicothedev (How has nobody tagged you here yet?) & @Zeppeli_ , you're up!

- Being wrong is okay. Having to iterate is okay. - Accepting feedback and using references is a MUST. And my favourite: 'Seek perfection, knowing you will never achieve it.' I choose you: @dtConfect @Designer_VickyB !

@Brazlo Oh sorry was moving to quickly there. Others as in expanding team, getting voice actors, composers, programmers needed etc. It also helps to know a bit of the program you want to use for making stuff as well, that's why I tell people to start small, and finish something first.

It means that when doing X for the game, X should have little to no effect on any other system/feature in the game. This allows one to reduce the mental burden when working on X (improving speed) and also when X has to change its way easier.

It feels strange giving "advice" being relatively new to gamedev, and still learning. But something what works for me is to every day do a little. Maybe I just have 10 mins free in all my day, but i still at least do something small for one of my projects
